The Chicago Parent Program (CPP) is an 11-week, evidence-based parenting group for parents and caregivers of children ages 2–8, focused on supporting emotional regulation, positive behavior, and strong parent-child relationships.

Talking to Tweens About Puberty & Body Changes

Puberty can bring a lot of changes, both physical and emotional, and it’s completely normal for tweens to feel confused, embarrassed, or unsure about what’s happening to their bodies.

A few tips for parents:

-Start the conversation early and keep it ongoing
-Use simple, honest language and answer questions as they come
-Normalize changes and remind them everyone develops at their own pace
-Let them know they can always come to you and their pediatrician with questions
-Open, supportive conversations help tweens feel confident, informed, and less alone as they grow. 💙

Evenflo has issued a voluntary recall for All4One car seats. Testing found potential for the adjustable recline mechanism to shift from one position to another in rear facing mode. If the recline position changes during a crash, a backseat rider sitting next to the rear facing car seat is at risk of injury if their fingers are inside the recline mechanism.
