Why the name Wozani?

At Wozani Integrative Health, our name is the foundation of our philosophy. It represents our history, our hopes for the community, and the way we view the journey of healing.

Pronunciation & Origin
It is pronounced WO-ZA-NEE.

The word stems from the rich heritage of South Africa, where Rainer’s wife, Liz, was born and raised. In both the Zulu and Xhosa languages, the root word Woza means “come,” and Wozani is the invitation extended to a group.
Wozani (v.): To come together; to gather.

From the Farm to the Practice.

The spirit of “gathering” has been central to our vision since we put down roots in the Tri-Town area.

2018: When we purchased our land, we envisioned it not just as a home, but as a gathering place for the community. In this spirit, Wozani Farm was born.

2023: When Rainer opened his integrative health practice, the very first office was situated right on the farm.
As the practice grew, carrying the name forward was a natural choice. It just seemed fitting. At Wozani Integrative Health, we believe that wellness is not a solo endeavor. It is a shared path where we travel the health journey together, continuing to learn, heal, and grow as a community.

Meet Isabella, FNP-C

Isabella is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience serving the Colorado community. As a functional medicine provider, she doesn’t just treat symptoms—she views the body as a big, beautiful, integrated system. By emphasizing the healing power of food and lifestyle, she helps her patients move beyond “normal” labs and toward true vitality.

Isabella cares for the whole person, incorporating health promotion for the mind, body, and spirit. Known for her kind heart and willingness to listen, she focuses on building deep trust and a true partnership. Her goal is to guide every patient to find—or rediscover—the very best version of themselves.

Clinical Specialties: Hormone Health: PCOS, Thyroid, & Perimenopause/Menopause; Fertility: Reproductive planning & Cycle Syncing; Internal Wellness: Gut health & Cardiometabolic wellness; Family Care: Supporting women and their families through every stage of life

When she isn’t with patients, you’ll find Isabella practicing yoga, skiing, or hiking with her German Shepherd, Hank. She is usually attempting to bake the perfect sourdough loaf, helping her husband work on the endless projects at their 1930’s farmhouse or establishing her green thumb on their little two-acre farm.

She is a firm believer in “nature baths” and leafy greens…but she also never turns down a strong americano, anything chocolate, or a happy hour with her girlfriends.

Hi Wozani health family.
We are so pleased and feel extremely honored to keep making integrative health care accessible for you. Thank you for starting on the farm with us, and continuing on the journey to our new office space in downtown Frederick.
We do not want you to think that we have left the farm for a cold hospital feel. Nope, we will still always follow our philosophy of slow medicine, looking at the root cause, and listening to your complete needs. We are human, and will always welcome you warmly. So although there will not be turkeys running a foot, our practice will remain the same, and we’ll have fresh flowers to adorn in the summer from the farm.
We appreciate you all, and we hope this move will create an even better experience.

A little about Rainer Linnemeyer FNP.

Rainer is more than a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner—he’s the heart and soul of Wozani Integrative Health, Frederick.

In the Clinic: Rainer combines the best of conventional medicine with an unwavering focus on root-cause healing. Frustrated with quick-fix medicine, his passion is using “real food” and lifestyle modification to help you tackle chronic disease and truly thrive.

On the Farm: When he’s not guiding patients, he’s an avid organic farmer! He teaches his four kids about healthy living by tending Wozani Farm, embodying our philosophy: nurturing health from the ground up. (Well, he mainly loves to double bounce them on the trampoline, and chase them around the farm with a leaf blower. 😂 but circling back to gardening, all the kiddos love their tomatoes right off the vine.

In the service: Did you know he’s a major in the air force? He’s served our country since 2013. And we couldn’t be more proud.

Travel: Rainer partners with Missions of Hope Africa (MOHI) every year, Travelling to Kenya giving his time and expertise to help teach and mentor the hospital staff, and every 3-4 years he’s the champion behind packing all 4 kids up and insisting on visiting South Africa, his wife’s family— to keep bonds and enrich his kids.

If Rainer read this, he’d probably want you to know that he loves cooking slow food, his mentor Alice Waters, and his oura ring will tell you that his stress lowers when he’s in front of a stove. He’s a big fan of sitting around the table every night for dinner. He’s an early riser, doing yoga and reading every morning, and you will never find him awake after 10pm.
