The practice is closed permanently, effective August 8, 2025. We can no longer offer any care of any kind to our former patients. Over the last three months, active practice patients have received multiple notices about the closure, including the need to select a new provider for your child's healthcare.
We will accept requests for records until 8/31/2025: send an email to Kim.Mazziott101@msn.com, include your child's name and birthdate, and language to the effect that it is a request for records. You will receive a personal electronic copy by reply email, that you can then forward to the new provider of your choice. Requests are processed in the order received: as of this writing there is a backlog of several hundred requests, so we cannot specify a timeframe for responding to yours.
Effective 9/1/2025. Morgan Records Management will assume custody of the practice records. To request records, visit their website at www,MorganRecordsManagement.com, click the "Request My Records" link, and complete the required fields. Morgan Records will charge a nominal fee for copying and sending records, according to applicable state and federal laws.
The practice email - DrSteveAlcuri@msn.com - will remain active for six months after the closure date. It is for general communications only, and cannot be used for patient care questions of any kind.
Effective 9/1/2025, Dr Alcuri will be joining Frederick Pediatric Associates, located at 87 Thomas Johnson Drive, Frederick MD, with satellite offices in Mt Airy, Ballenger, and Urbana. For those of you who want to follow him there, visit their website at www.frederickpeds.com, and click on the "New Patients" tab.

Just an update on one of our precious Moms!

With Mother's day coming this Sunday, it breaks my heart that Chrissy will be spending it at Univ of MD Hospital. She continues on her journey and the fight against Leukemia!! We continue to pray for her and her family, but with 4 kiddos and such a tremendous burdon, I can only imagine how stressful this must be.

Please continue to lift the Fout's in prayer and please consider blessing this family for Mother's day. It is so hard for a spouse not to quit everything and be by the side of their loved one, but with 4 kiddos you have to keep working. Every gift of love is a little off of this family's shoulders. Please share this with your friends and continue to bless the Fout family.

I can't believe it's the end of January already! How is the New Year starting out for you?
Although we have had a mild winter so far.... the illnesses haven't been so mild! Very nasty Upper Respiratory illness affecting so many. If your child has had a prolonged cough/ fever / congestion.... give us a call.
