We promised more updates — here's what's new!

Since our last post, our team has been hard at work designing a custom presentation table to push our automated machining capabilities even further. The results speak for themselves:

• 5 trays holding up to 270 enclosures each
• 10 hours of continuous, automated machining
• Smart tray sequencing — once a tray is fully machined, the arm pushes it back and lifts the columns automatically to raise the next tray, so the robot never skips a beat

Built with Rose+Krieger Blocan profiles and Multilifts, every element of this table was engineered with precision and efficiency in mind.

This is what continuous improvement looks like in action — and we're just getting started.

We’re proud to support the Frederick County Building Industry Association by donating 1,000 safety glasses for this year’s Frederick Construction Career Day (CCD) on October 22, 2026.

Last year, in partnership with the Maryland Center for Construction Education & Innovation (MCCEI), CCD welcomed 500 high school students exploring careers in the trades. This year, we’re excited to help the event double its impact, with 1,000 students expected to attend!

Take a closer look at one of the robotic systems powering our automation efforts at Phoenix Mecano North America.

In this video, the robotic arm loads a fiberglass enclosure into the Haas machine and then unloads the finished part to join the completed batch. Combined with our custom presentation table, this setup boosts repeatability, reduces manual handling, and enables extended automated operation—all without compromising quality.

We’re excited to keep refining this automation process and will share more updates soon as we continue driving customer success through continuous improvement.

From Summer Intern to Winter Innovator — Emma Chang continues to make an impact at Phoenix Mecano.

We first welcomed Emma Chang as a Summer Engineering Intern, where she quickly impressed our Design Engineering team. This Winter Break, she returned and expanded her impact across multiple departments.

From collaborating with Systems Integration and sharpening her Python skills to building Power BI dashboards and creating custom 3D‑printed tool attachments for our production floor, Emma brought creativity, curiosity, and real results.
