I had this distinctive feeling of before and after prior to my trip to Costa Rica. Somehow I knew it was a marking point, akin to those few blank pages some authors or printers use to highlight one era of the characters narrative into the other

The thing is though those blank pages were anything but. Costa Rica showed me a lot. A lot about myself, my family, beliefs, cultures, habits, way of living, desires. It was as if I had asked for a Reading from the universe and instead of throwing down some cards She said; let me show you

I don’t feel like the same person I was before I left and I have a lot of unpack and work through now that I’m back. In many ways I left many things behind. This picture reminds me of the 8 of Cups in the Tarot. Walking away into something new

Embracing this new era, whatever it may be and bring, as I integrate what once was

Today was my last session with Tre

It was very hard to say goodbye to him as a Trainer. Tre has been a formative part of the last two years, a rock and a sounding board I got to see weekly. His encouragement, patience, enthusiasm, empathy and humor the best companions. Tre helped me grow as a person and helped me realize all the things my body is able to do in spite of my chronic illness and challenges

Tre embodies everything that is right in fitness. I am going to miss him terribly. He’s become a friend and one I cherish.

Looking forward to witnessing his journey as I continue mine

Fun fact for those that know I am an Astrologer; Tre is my Astro twin :)

Happy Nurses Week from yours truly. I hope you never need me and I hope you don’t see me at whatever facility I may be terrorizing for the time being, but if you do, best believe I have your back

Nursing is complex, often romanticized, the folks within in dehumanized by the lenses placed upon us that strip us of the ability to connect with you more, be less occupied, be more human.

I have learned from each patient and their family, whether it was a lesson I liked or not, it has moved aspects of me. I have met some amazing people, witnessed courage, grief, joy and endless pain. Every aspect of the human spectrum can sometimes be felt, witnessed or mentioned within the walls of the ER.

I don’t regret my decision to become a nurse and definitely am grateful I stumbled upon emergency medicine. Not sure where else I will wander into but for now, if you see my long eyelashes staring down at you as you lay on a gurney trust that I got your back and I might even make you laugh a bit 😉

There’s a flirty, sensual vibe to this coming Full Moon. The ruler of this full Moon being in Ta**us just gives it that grounding and sensual vibe. Gemini likes to have fun, be outgoing and Sag enhances that but how spontaneous they can be

The caveat here is that there’s a major planet on every angle and kinda a serious one at that. So while the intention might be to have fun and let loose it may have deeper consequences than normal. Wouldn’t be surprised if you could get carried away

So have fun but watch your words and while the world is a stage and you’re one of the players, be clear on what role you’re trying to play

What does Saturn in Pisces Mean for you?

I’ve decided to temporarily offer a new type of reading

Saturn will enter Pisces on March 7. Saturn has been in its domicile for the last 4-5 years. It’s been an on going lesson about society, resources, responsibility.

Saturn moving into Pisces is a very different vibe. It’s a posing the question of; how do we make our fantasies come true? How do we provide structure to the ephemeral? How do we create a world where we can safely dream? How do we bring the divine into the tangible?

Depending on where Pisces falls into your chart will set the pace or shift what will be brought(or more likely taken away) in your life

This reading will be us talking about what Saturn will do to whatever house will ingress in your chart, what that could bring for you in the next 2 1/2 years and perhaps even remove. I will also pull cards to create imagery for you

🔮1: Answered prayers, spells gone right, just a profound yes. I feel like you’re being asked to be judicious with the Blessings in your life and how accessible you are to others for you are that precious and that abundant. Just because someone enjoys and craves your light doesn’t mean they appreciate and shine it back on you. For many though this feels like a reminder of your capacity for resilience and emotional labor but just because it’s not hitting a certain threshold it doesn’t mean it isn’t draining. Either way; enjoy the abundance coming into your life. It’s coming anyway. It’s more; not everyone will join you in that journey

🔮2: Whenever you find yourself over thinking, rehashing or replaying things in your mind to the point where you don’t know which direction to take, I invite you to stop for a second and see where the flow of life is taking you. What are your feelings trying to show you? This isn’t a moment for aggression or for you to dominate what’s happening but to allow yourself to be led and observe what’s happening around you. You’re not wanting to and that’s what’s holding you back. Life moves on regardless. This is more about you being aware of where you are within that flow.

I had a friend reach out to me recently and it sparked a convo that inspired this post

Right now we have a couple of planets in Pisces. Piscesnian energy can be lovely but it was can also be numbing and misleading. While in some ways it really lends itself to spiritual pursuits and spiritual workings it can also distract us and be the thing we cling to as a means to avoid the pain that being human can sometimes bring

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with using Neptunian energies as an anesthetic from time to time but it’s dangerous when that becomes the only way we cope

The other thing is this

Using the Tarot while we have Venus and Neptune conjuct in Pisces is amazing but unless you have a concise and clear question you’re going to get a very broad answer

If that’s what you’re looking for enjoy but if it isn’t then how you approach the Tarot and the questions is often more important than what she decides to tell you

The Tarot at large reflects the Universe and when approaching it personally can reflect all the different intersections of threads relating to you. Some seen and some unseen. If you have the language of Astrology then you can discern which unseen threads it speaks of but if not, it can be use to be misinterpreted.
