You all know and love our amazing C-SLPA, Hope Hichak! 🌟 Drawing on her passion for literacy from her paraeducator days, Hope is sharing her favorite "golden rule" for phonics: keep your sounds crisp and clean! To help your little ones blend words like a pro, try to avoid adding an extra "uh" (the schwa) to the end of consonants. Instead of a heavy "buh" or "suh," go for a short, snappy /b/ or a smooth, continuous /ssss/. It makes a world of difference when they start putting it all together—because "b-a-t" sounds just like bat, but "buh-ah-tuh" is a bit of a tongue-twister! 📖✨

Our office remains closed tomorrow to ensure the safety of our families and staff. We’re assessing the situation daily and will reach out regarding telehealth options if the closure continues. Stay safe!

Because of your support, 2025 is ending on a high note… CTS is growing! 🎉 We now have two new office spaces to better serve our wonderful community. The spaces are nearly ready, the furniture is in (yes, we’re very excited!), and we can’t wait to welcome our first clients next week!

Merry Christmas Eve from all of us at CTS! Sharing this yearly photo of our team celebrating Christmas together is one of our favorite traditions. 🎄 Day 11 of our 12 Days of Christmas 🎄

Our sessions have been full of festive learning and meaningful moments lately. From borrowing a client’s awesome LEGO Christmas tree and opening surprise presents to support early language skills, to creating snowman sentences while practicing pronouns and past tense verbs, and even exploring a nativity scene together, holiday play has been a meaningful way to build communication.

We love finding ways to meet goals while embracing the joy and meaning of the season 🤍✨
