This is called full physical prompting or “hand over hand.” It’s used best when:

- Our learner is unable to preform a task with any independence
- a learner hasn’t been able to attend to an activity being modeled and is better at being shown the first few times
- in some instances of errorless learning

When NOT to use it:

- we use full physical prompting as little as possible
- never use it continuously without allowing the learner the ability to try on their own
- don’t use this if your learner can complete the skill independently but insists on “help” from someone else

Our monthly staff meeting looked a little different this October. We ventured out to Prince William Forest park 🌺 to discuss soft skills and what clear, direct communication looks like.

We learned all humans have different backgrounds, life experiences, strengths, and growth edges. Our staff truly are the backbone of our effective, compassionate ABA therapy.

We can have the best treatment plans and BCBAs, but without these dedicated, intelligent RBTs we wouldn’t be the company we are today.

Many parents have expressed at previous locations, companies, or clinic settings it wasn’t a good “fit” or not knowing “what was happening” when they dropped of their child for ABA.

Rise ABA Therapy allows you to be anywhere your child is. If having parents / guardians present can be a distraction, they can always ask to have pictures or videos sent!

Our staff are required to be Registered Behavior Technicians, CPR certified, pass all state annual trainings, and will soon all be Safety Care Trained! The care, compassion, and love they show up with is just an added bonus 🥰
