Meet Mboka “MC” Cheyo Kemp, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, our Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. MC brings years of experience working in adult and adolescent psychiatric settings, where her calm presence and patient-centered approach have helped countless individuals feel supported and understood.

She specializes in comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and holistic treatment plans for conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and more. MC believes in educating and empowering her patients, reducing stigma, and creating space for meaningful collaboration in every step of their care.

A committed lifelong learner, MC earned her Master of Science in Nursing (PMHNP) from Chamberlain University, a Master of Public Health from the University of Texas School of Public Health, her BSN from Old Dominion University, and graduated Summa Cum Laude with an Advanced Diploma from Germanna Community College.

Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling, reading, staying active, and spending time with family. We’re honored to have her as part of the HWG team. 🌱
