Our 8th Annual Fredericksburg Turkey Trot is set for Saturday, November 29, 2025—the Saturday after Thanksgiving. This beloved community tradition is a family-friendly day of fitness and fun, featuring a 1-mile fun run, 5K run/walk, and 10K run/walk. A portion of event proceeds will support the Fredericksburg Police Department Foundation Fund, which helps fund critical needs not covered by the regular budget—like officer housing, equipment, and advanced training/education. Funds allocated to Heart of the Hills Pregnancy Resources directly support our Thrive Program, helping single or at-risk mothers secure safe housing, reliable transportation, employment, counseling, nutritional assistance, postpartum rent assistance, and prenatal care—all at no cost to clients. The Fredericksburg Turkey Trot benefits Heart of the Hills Pregnancy Resources, a 501(c)(3) faith-based nonprofit serving women and families in Gillespie County. 📣 TURKEY TROT REGISTRATION UPDATE

Attention Turkey Trot participants:

All Turkey Trot registration refunds have been submitted.

Refunds are issued directly by Athlete Guild (the race management company) — not by Heart of the Hills — which means:

✅ Refunds are processed individually.
👉 If you registered multiple runners, you will see separate refund transactions on your bank or credit card statement.

Please allow 7–10 business days for refunds to appear, depending on your bank.

💡 Important: Heart of the Hills does not receive registration funds directly, and we are unable to expedite refunds once they are initiated through the race company.

To the Fredericksburg Community: We’ve made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Fredericksburg Turkey Trot. This was not an easy call — we know how much this Thanksgiving tradition means to so many of you.

We are deeply grateful for the incredible support from our runners, volunteers, sponsors, and community. Your enthusiasm and generosity have always been the heart of this event.

👉 All registered runners will receive a full refund.
👉 Sponsors will be contacted directly regarding their donations.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We hope to see you back at the start line in the future! 💛
