Rappahannock Medical Reserve Corps

Rappahannock Medical Reserve Corps We are volunteers building strong, healthy and prepared communities in Fredericksburg, Caroline, Staf Department of Health and Human Services.

Under the direction of the Virginia Department of Health, the Rappahannock Medical Reserve Corps (RMRC) is a group of volunteer health care professionals and community members trained to respond to and assist with public health emergencies in the counties of Caroline, King George, Spotsylvania, Stafford and the city of Fredericksburg in Virginia. This unit is one of approximately 900 units that are part of the national Medical Reserve Corps program under the direction of the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response, U.S. Our unit is 1 of 35 in the Virginia Medical Reserve Corps.

Last Wednesday, we hosted a MRC recognition dinner to acknowledge all the hard work our incredibly dedicated volunteers have done over the last year. We thank our volunteers for all they have done throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic and beyond. We are extremely grateful for the time, talents, and abilities our volunteers provide when assisting the RAHD community!
