Happy Women’s History Month from all of us at Dragonfly 💛

We’re honored to celebrate the strength, compassion, and leadership of the women who make our community what it is.

A special shoutout to our owner, Anne Kemp, who was featured in the Fredericksburg Visitor Center’s gallery showcase of woman-owned businesses in downtown Fredericksburg — an incredible honor and a beautiful reminder of the inspiring women we stand alongside.

And to all of the women who work at Dragonfly: thank you. We simply couldn’t do what we do without your energy, heart, and dedication.

Here’s to the women who lead, create, teach, and uplift, today and every day.

Yoga doesn’t silence the world around you… it softens the noise within you.

In a practice where breath leads and movement follows, the constant chatter begins to fade. Thoughts slow, tension melts, and for a moment… you return to yourself. Not the version pulled in a hundred directions, but the one that’s steady, present, and grounded.

That feeling is why we keep coming back.
Not for perfection, but for peace.
Not to escape life, but to meet it more clearly.

See you at the Studio.

We’re so grateful for each of you who participated 💛
Watch to see who took home the grand prize + our 3 runner-ups.

Just because Intention Bingo is over, don’t let go of your intentions. Keep up the consistency! See you at the Studio.

The morning sun, quiet streets, and the first signs of spring…

The perfect morning starts with a walk through town as everything begins to bloom… and leads you right to your mat.

Morning yoga isn’t just a ritual, it’s proven to boost mood, improve focus, increase flexibility, and reduce stress for the rest of your day. It’s how you set the tone, before the world gets loud.

Breathe deeper. Move slower. Start softer.

Your morning matters—make it yours.
See you at the studio.

Yoga and contrast therapy speak the same language: nervous system regulation. One through stillness and mindful movement, the other through intentional stress and recovery.
In yoga, we practice moving between effort and ease.

In contrast therapy, we move between heat and cold.

Both train the body to adapt, recover, and regulate.

🔥Sauna softens muscle tension, increases circulation, and invites the body into a parasympathetic state, much like settling into a long savasana!

🧊Cold plunge sharpens focus, builds resilience, and stimulates the nervous system, similar to the alert presence we cultivate in a strong steady pose.

Together they create a powerful cycle:
Move, Stress, Recover, Regulate.
Yoga prepares the body to listen inward.
Contrast therapy teaches the body to adapt outward.

Different practices.
Same intention: a more resilient, balanced nervous system.

Want to develop a practice of nervous system resilience? and are here wherever you're ready.

You never know when it might be your turn.
One second you're lying there, eyes closed, soaking in the silence.

The next second you hear a gentle rubbing pf palms, feel a hand land gently on your shoulders and you enter another realm.

There is a very specific kind of joy reserved for realising you're getting a head massage in savasana. A sudden sense of being holier than thou. A wave of bliss that says, “yes! will be staying here forever.”

Sometimes, when the stars align and the teacher feels called, you get a little extra care to seal the deal.

Just lying on your mat at Dragonfly, floating somewhere between relaxation and full trance, wondering how it all got this good?

Kindness starts with us.

This March, Dragonfly is proud to partner with I Support the Girls – Fredericksburg for our Annual Menstrual Product Donation Drive.

Through an international network of affiliates, ISTG collects and distributes essential items, including bras, underwear, and menstrual hygiene products, to women and individuals experiencing homelessness, impoverishment, or distress. Because no one should have to choose between a meal and a tampon.

Menstrual products are basic necessities, not luxuries. Yet millions lack reliable access, impacting dignity, health, school attendance, and work opportunities.

✨ Donations are being accepted at BOTH studio locations all month long.

Bring unopened pads, tampons, liners, or menstrual cups, and help us stand for dignity in our community.

Small acts. Real impact.
Let’s show up for each other.fxbg

Bringing Order to the Chaos: Training the Mind for Health & Performance

Stress isn’t the problem.
Unprocessed stress is.

When pressure becomes constant, our nervous system adapts, but not always in ways that serve our health, clarity, or capacity to respond with intention. So how do we work with stress and trauma instead of fighting them?

This frank, neuroscience-backed and mindfulness-based workshop explores awareness, emotional regulation, and compassion as trainable skills on and off the mat. Together we’ll examine how a dysregulated nervous system impacts the body, mind, and decision-making, and how mindfulness can restore choice, resilience, and steadiness.

Expect discussion + practical skills around:
• What mindfulness is (and is not)
• Training attention in a distracted world
• Working with disruptive thought patterns
• Integrating mindfulness into daily life
• Applying these tools on the mat and with your inner critic
