Who says apple pie has to wait till Thanksgiving Day? Why not have it for breakfast in a refreshing smoothie that takes five minutes to prepare? Give this go to breakfast smoothie a try and I know you will love it!

Ingredients:

1 medium Gala apple (sliced)
1 cup of oat milk
1 cup of ice
2 tbsp of almond butter
1 tbsp of maple syrup
1/4 tsp of nutmeg
1/4 tsp of cloves
1/4 tsp of cinnamon
1 cinnamon stick

Directions:

Grab your blender, toss your ingredients in and hit puree! Serve immediately in your favorite glass or mason jar and enjoy!

*This recipe makes three 8 oz smoothies. 🍎πŸ₯§

I often get asked how to eliminate cravings and boost energy and my answer is always the same: just eat real food that tastes as good as it is good for you! It really is that simple! So that being said, I am always on a mission to get in the kitchen and create healthy, whole food recipes for both my family and yours! Introducing, my new Quinoa Stuffed Acorn Squash that is loaded with flavor, fiber and energy boosting nutrients to keep you satiated and satisfied! Make this delicious dinner in minutes and I promise, it will not disappoint!

Ingredients:

-2 acorn squash (halved)
-1 cup of cooked organic tri color quinoa
-4 tbsp of avocado oil
-1 tsp of Ceylon cinnamon
-1/2 tsp of thyme
-1/2 tsp of ground cumin
-1/2 tsp of salt
-1/2 cup of dried cranberries
-1/2 cup of slivered almonds

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Cut your acorn squash in half, scoop out the center and place them in a glass baking pan in the oven for 20 minutes. Simultaneously, bring your quinoa to a boil before turning it down to low heat and allowing it to cook fully. Next, combine your quinoa with your avocado oil, spices and almonds. Remove the acorn squash from the oven and evenly stuff each one with your quinoa mixture. Serve alone or alongside your favorite protein and enjoy! 🍁 🍽️

Life is a beautiful gift that can either be spent in motion or in stagnation, and every human gets to choose which path they take. Unfortunately, far too often fear of judgment, imposter syndrome, low self-esteem, and a lack of faith lead to a lack of momentum in one's life and thus, a lack of growth. The constant need to remain "safe" and in known territory is so often the reason many stay cemented to the ground. Yet a life spent frozen in place isn't the life God designed for us to live. Instead, we were meant to live a full life immersed in faith while boldly taking leaps each day towards becoming the incredible human we were meant to be. We no longer have the luxury to procrastinate and not take action! It's time to faithfully climb the edge of fear and self-doubt, take a deep breath, and thenβ€”just jump!

Cinnamon, raisins, carrots and spice makes for the perfect fall treat or breakfast on the go! With all of the colors and flavors of autumn in one muffin along with protein, fiber and vitamins, these muffins are sure to give you both the comfort and energy you crave! Enjoy!

Ingredients:

2 cups of almond flour
1 cup of shredded carrots
1 cup of raisins
2/3 cup of maple syrup
2 eggs
1/3 cup of chopped walnuts
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp of cloves
1/4 tsp of nutmeg
1/4 tsp of cinnamon

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Then in a medium bowl, toss in the almond flour, raisins, eggs, spices and maple syrup and give a quick stir. Next, slowly add and fold in the shredded carrots. Lastly, line your muffin tin with paper liners and evenly distribute your mixture amongst them before baking your muffins at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Allow them to cool and then enjoy!

*This recipe makes 12 muffins.

It's time we stopped receiving messages like.. "everyone needs to take this, eat this and do that to better their health." God made us to be bio individuals and though some generalized advice is good, let's not forget that our bodies are unique and are trying to guide us daily to what they really need!
