Watercrest Fredericksburg is thrilled to introduce Executive Chef Luis Vasquez Alba to the team. With over two decades of experience and a background that spans from his roots in Peru to classical Italian training, Chef Luis brings a world of flavor to our kitchen.

As a proud military veteran coming from a family of chefs, he understands that dining is about more than just the menu. He believes food should create joy, comfort, and connection.

We are all so excited to taste what he creates. Welcome to the family, Chef!

We are very excited to introduce Amy Griffin as Watercrest Fredericksburg's Business Office Manager! Amy proudly brings over 15 years of experience in senior living and business operations to our team.

Amy offers a strong blend of heart and efficiency to support our residents, families, and team members. She is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner and Medication Aide, giving her a well-rounded understanding of the unique needs within senior living communities. Amy adapts quickly in fast-paced environments, and her core value is Loyalty. She ensures that daily operations run smoothly while creating a warm, supportive experience for everyone who walks through our doors. When she isn't working, Amy enjoys spending time with her family and caring for her dogs.

Fresh pavement and new landscaping have officially rolled out the welcome mat! 🌿🚗

The exterior at Watercrest Fredericksburg is transforming quickly. With the parking lot complete and the greenery taking root, the site is looking less like a construction zone and more like a community. It is now easier than ever for guests and future residents to pull right up to the front door.

This Thanksgiving, our gratitude is built on a vision of what’s coming next!

While we haven't opened our doors just yet, 2025 has been a year of incredible momentum. We watched the building transform from blueprints into reality with massive construction progress, but the true foundation was laid by the people we brought together.

We have spent this year assembling a talented new team, forging strong relationships with local community partners, and truly defining what "Senior Living Reimagined" looks like. The energy is already here, even before the furniture is in place.

We are thankful for the progress we’ve made and the excitement that is building every day, all while counting down the days until 2026, when we can finally welcome you home to the community we’ve been dreaming of with Watercrest Senior Living Group. The kitchen at Watercrest Fredericksburg operates a little differently than a standard cafeteria. We believe in a "personal chef" approach for our residents, which means our team will be busy crafting everything from traditional Sunday Brunches to mindful, nutritional menus.

Meet Linda George, our new Resident Lifestyle Director at Watercrest Fredericksburg! 💙

With eleven years in senior living, Linda designs meaningful, inspiring experiences that help residents live each day with joy, purpose, and dignity. Her approach is shaped by two decades overseas with Operation Mobilization, where service and community were her daily work.

Linda’s energy and smile light up a room. Whether she’s hosting a book club, singing a favorite tune, or simply sitting to listen, her goal is the same. Make each person feel seen, valued, and deeply cared for. Guided by her core value of Grace, she brings creativity, kindness, and strength to every program.
