💗 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 💗

This month holds special meaning for us. Our team members, Pamela Meyer (Occupational Therapist) and Destiny Perry (Office Manager), are honoring the memory of their mothers, Barbara Meyer and Devon Vela, who both lost their battle with breast cancer.

Pamela has dedicated her career to helping others through their journey. She is certified in Breast Cancer Rehabilitation and works closely with women in our community to recover from lymphatic issues and other challenges caused by breast cancer treatment.

We stand with all those who have been affected by breast cancer — survivors, fighters, and families who carry the memory of their loved ones. 💕

🎉 Happy National Hand Therapy Week! 🖐
As we celebrate Hand Therapy Week at Ascent Therapy Group, we are proud to recognize our very own Certified Hand Therapist, Pamela Meyer!

Pamela earned her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Since then, she has become a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), bringing exceptional expertise to our team.

Pamela specializes in treating individuals affected by acute or cumulative trauma, disease, or acquired deformities of the upper extremity. Her approach combines a wide range of treatment techniques tailored to each individual, helping them regain function and return to the activities that matter most—whether that's work, play, or everyday life.
