Meet the people who care for you! Each month we'll shine a spotlight on a different department so you can get to the know the faces behind the care - the dedicated team members who work together to keep our community healthy. This month we are featuring our Radiology Department. If you need X-Rays, CT scan, or Ultrasound this team is here for you. We asked long time team member, Melissa King her favorite part of the job and she said without hesitation, "It's the people." Over the years many of her patients have become like family. They share stories, laughter and genuine care for one another. “We know each other by name, not by chart,” she says. “They ask about my vacation, and I ask how their dog is doing.”
That same closeness extends beyond patient care to the team she works with every day. Melissa values how everyone supports one another, learns together, and steps in to help without hesitation. “We’re like family here too,” she says. As long-time team member, Ray Allgier prepares to retire Melissa now finds herself being looked up to by new team members. “It’s a good feeling,” she says. “We take care of each other here – that is what makes this place so special.”
