Exciting News from Home Town Health Care!
We’re thrilled for our Chief Operations Officer, Jon Reed, on his recent appointment as Chair of the Osage County Council on Aging!
The Osage County Council on Aging is a dedicated group of volunteers who support the mission of the Osage County Senior Center and General Public Transportation located in Osage City; providing activities, meals (in partnership with the East Central Kansas Area Agency on Aging), education, trips to regional entertainment or businesses, and other transportation opportunities for seniors throughout the county.
Jon has served on the Council for the past year, representing the Lyndon area, where our Home Town Health Care office is located.
Recently, Jon was nominated and elected as Chair, a role he humbly accepted with a deep respect for the organization and the incredible people involved.
“I’m just a very small part of a great organization,” Jon shared. He also expressed gratitude to Home Town Health Care for supporting his volunteer work and giving him the opportunity to help shape the future of senior services in Osage County.
A huge thank you to the Osage County Council on Aging and all the passionate volunteers, Franny Deter, Executive Director, and her dedicated staff who help make the Osage County Senior Center, one of the most vibrant and successful senior centers in Eastern Kansas!
