We are now in Day 32 of our Hokiday Cheer. Today culinary made parfaits for celebrate 🎶 four calling birds for our 12 days of Christmas.

Day 30 of Cheer and our Residents learned all about Kwanzaa today and we celebrated with Two Turtle Doves.

Day 29 of Cheer and a Partridge in a Pear Tree.

Today Santa left so many gifts for our Residents. Turns out they were ALL on his nice list.

We also began celebrating those 12 Days of Christmas by singing about a Patridge in a Pear Tree and then having this yummy treat from our Culinary team.

Day 28 of Cheer and ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.

Today we talked about Santa’s imminent arrival and made sure they were all on the NICE list. (They are!)

Our Executive Director Kim read ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas and did lots of other Christmas themed games. We added another snowflake to our countdown and lit the last candle on the Advent wreath.

Merry Christmas Eve to all of our Residents, families, and staff. What a wonderful year we have had together! 🌲

It is a day 27 of Cheer and we were all seeing green today as we celebrated with a viewing of How the Grinch Stole Christmas. We watched the 1966 version and then we had a Grinch themed party and played a little Grinch trivia. Residents also snagged a Grinch themed word search because we all love a good word search puzzle too!

We added another snowflake to our countdown to Christmas. It is amazing how close to the big day we are!

Day 26 of Cheer and it was all about cookies. We decorated cookies, but the best part was getting to eat the cookies! We talked about our favorite kinds of cookies and chocolate chip won by a landslide!

Day 25 of Cheer.
The number of days until Santa brings presents is getting smaller and smaller. Today Santa came to brunch to remind everyone how few days are left!

We lit our last candle for Hanukkah and we lit a new candle for Advent. Today was also the beginning of Winter Solstice, which is the longest night of the year. It’s a time to set intentions for the new year and to let go of this past year.

Today is Day 24 of Cheer and we are exercising our brains with a little Trivia. Lots of laughter and joy filled the air today.

We also lit the candle for the seventh night of Hanukkah.
