SB1756 was introduced last legislative session and is still active. We need to encourage our state senators to support SB1756, co-sponsor the bill, and help move this bill forward!

Illinois Massage Therapists: Important Update on the Interstate Massage Compact (SB1756)

There’s been a lot of confusion lately, so here’s what you need to know:

✅ The only active and valid interstate compact legislation in Illinois is SB1756, which is based on the original Massage Therapy Interstate Compact developed by FSMTB.
This is the compact that has already gone through the formal development process, including input from regulators, practitioners, and national stakeholders.

🚫 AMTA and CSG have recently circulated a different version of a compact proposal — but this version is not the official compact, and it is not the one being considered by Illinois legislators.

Why this matters

Introducing or promoting an alternate compact at this stage can:

• Delay progress on the real compact already moving through the legislature
• Create unnecessary confusion for lawmakers and the public
• Slow down portability benefits Illinois massage therapists have been waiting for
• Risk dividing the profession at a moment when unity is crucial

To move forward, we must stay focused on SB1756 — the vetted, regulator-driven FSMTB compact.

Take Action

🗣️ Illinois therapists: Please help share accurate information.
Support SB1756, and encourage colleagues not to endorse or promote the alternate AMTA/CSG version that could undermine progress.

1980 typically farma and doctors started this epidemic of breast cancer..... By prescribing
Estrogen-Progestogen Therapy, or EPT) which included a progestogen to protect the uterine lining, ( not good)
leeding to a increased prescriptions.$$$$

Furthermore

1980: data Registry shows breast cancer incidence increasing by about 10% after initiating therapy..

There are thirteen large segments which represent the thirteen moons.... which make up the lunar year.

By counting the smaller segments around the lower edge of the shell, you will find there are 28, which represents the 28 days between new moons.

Every group of Native Americans has names for the thirteen moons and there are stories to go with each new moon. The names of the moons and the stories that accompany them vary from one group to another, but each is descriptive of the season in which the new moon appears.

The Human Body carries the same calendar as follows:

2 shoulder, 2 elbow, 2 wrist joints = 6

2 hip, 2 knees, 2 ankle joints = 6
