Allaire Rehab & Nursing is proud to host the upcoming Vivistim Therapy™ Regional Summit, a full-day, advanced clinical education event designed for neuro-focused therapists looking to deepen their expertise in chronic stroke care.

Join us on December 6, 2025, to learn directly from MicroTransponder Inc. clinical leaders about Vivistim Paired VNS™ Therapy, an innovative, evidence-based treatment for chronic ischemic stroke survivors with upper extremity impairment.

Attendees will earn 6 CEU Hours while exploring:

We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Here are a few photos from our day. Many residents were fortunate to go out on pass or have family stop in. Others enjoyed sipping pumpkin spice coffee while watching the Macy's Parade. The Arts n Crafts came out, a challenge of Thanksgiving Trivia, the annual Roll A Turkey Game, a yummy holiday meal, and later snacks from the goodies cart. Our staff who spent the holiday with our residents were thanked for their dedication, given tokens of appreciation, a variety of fresh pies, and 2 scrumptious cakes. The atmosphere was light and friendly. It was so nice to hear the residents and staff sharing what they were thankful for today. Let us be grateful for all the little things that make us happy.

We had a blast yesterday with Ferlie Almonte! Her positive and uplifting words truly touched everyone in the room. The residents enjoyed the interactive, powerful, and thought provoking talk. Her personal story of challenges overcome, gave our Horizons Neurological Rehab Program residents hope and encouragement. "You are not your diagnosis". "You are not your disability" This is just what our young adult rehab residents needed to hear for motivation. Ferlie has an incredibly beautiful singing voice. Both residents and staff enjoyed singing and dancing along. When the residents were asked what song they wanted her to play during the initial meet and greet, they said "Metallica!" Without hesitation, Enter Sandman was on, Ferlie was dancing, and the residents and staff were singing. She truly adapts to her audience and left quite an impression on our young adults. THANK YOU Ferlie! You built us up and left us wanting more!

Yesterday we celebrated National Princess Day. Why? Why not? We love a good theme day here at Allaire. Crowns, makeup, lip gloss, jewelry, and cotton candy. The message? YOU are special. NEVER LET ANYONE DULL YOUR SPARKLE!

Pure Puppy Love ❤️These 4 cuties each belong to one of our employees. Our residents are loving the visits! It will be fun to watch them grow. We are a pet-friendly facility. Please give us a call if you have a friendly fur baby to bring in.
