February 25, 2026 - Freehold, NJ
On Friday, February 6, 2026, CentraState Healthcare Foundation hosted its 64th Annual Celebration Ball – Under the Sea. The event recognized Mr. Eugene W. Landy as Distinguished Ambassador honoree.
Mr. Landy and his family have been longtime supporters of CentraState. He is the pioneering leader in the Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) industry, serving as founder and Chairman of UMH Properties, Inc., and founder and former Chairman of Monmouth Real Estate Investment Corporation. A graduate of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and Yale Law School, Mr. Landy has been widely recognized for his visionary leadership, contributions to affordable housing, and decades of service, helping grow UMH into one of the nation’s largest manufactured home community owners while improving the lives of residents, employees, and communities.
More than 220 guests attended the CentraState Healthcare Foundation’s Annual Celebration Ball, held at South Gate Manor, where attendees were transported beneath the waves for an unforgettable evening of elegance, entertainment, and immersive design. This year’s Celebration Ball officially invited guests Under the Sea, transforming the venue into an ocean-inspired experience from the moment guests arrived. A striking Under the Sea–themed balloon arch welcomed attendees at the entrance, setting the tone for the magical evening ahead. Guests then made their way through a hallway lined with chance auction baskets, creatively styled with fishnets, bubble accents, and coastal décor—building excitement and anticipation throughout the space. Cocktail hour featured live saxophone music, creating a sophisticated and atmospheric backdrop as guests mingled amid the underwater surroundings. Upon entering the ballroom, attendees were fully immersed in the theme. Floating bubble décor and schools of fish displayed on large video screens surrounded guests, creating the sensation of being enveloped in an underwater world. Every detail of the evening was thoughtfully curated to bring the theme to life, allowing guests to feel truly transported. The Celebration Ball was not only a visually stunning experience but also supported a meaningful cause. Guests heard inspiring remarks honoring the evening’s mission from Thomas Scott, President and CEO of CentraState Healthcare System, and Brett Taft, Chair of the CentraState Healthcare Foundation Board of Trustees. Following the presentations, guests danced the night away to high-energy music provided by Merge Entertainment, continuing the celebration well into the evening.
Over $300,000 was raised to support programs and services offered at Atlantic Health CentraState Medical Center.
