“Hi, most people know me, I’m the Front Desk Manager at the Infinity Chiropractic Farmingdale location.
I’m a cancer survivor of over five years. About five and a half years ago, after moving down here, I discovered a bruise and a lump on one of my breasts. Naturally, I became nervous and concerned. I searched the internet and learned it could possibly be a hematoma. I decided to keep an eye on it, but soon after, I discovered another lump underneath the first one.
At that point, I consulted with a doctor and scheduled a mammogram. Two biopsies were performed;the first lump turned out to be a hematoma, and the second was diagnosed as Stage 2 breast cancer.
Surgery was scheduled, along with a breast reduction. After three months of healing, I began radiation therapy, which lasted another three months.
This November 22nd marks my six-year anniversary of being cancer free. I look forward to a healthy and happy 2026, and to continuing to enjoy life with my two teenage sons and my precious dogs, who I love with all my heart! 💕”
