When Should You Replace Your Running Shoes?👟🏃‍♀️

Most running shoes last 300–400 miles— for the average runner, that’s about 4–6 months depending on how often you log miles.

Watch for:
👣 Worn-down tread
⚖️ Uneven soles
🦵 New foot, shin, or knee pain
⬇👟 Shoes that feel flat or less supportive

Old shoes can lead to new injuries — don’t ignore the signs.

3 Reasons Your Toenails Hurt When Running 🏃‍♀️👣

👟 Shoes are too tight – Repeated pressure on the nail can cause bruising or black toenails.

⬇️ Downhill running– Your toes slide forward and hit the front of your shoe.

✂️ Nails are too long – Extra length increases friction and pressure.

Toenail pain isn’t “just part of running.” If it keeps happening, it’s worth getting checked.

If your first steps in the morning HURT… it’s time to fix that 👣
🌟 Stretch before getting out of bed
🌟 Wear supportive shoes
🌟 Ice + rest when needed
Morning heel pain is common — but not normal!
