Daichi Roshi, aka, Chisan is starting a new series of dharma talks on the Heart Sutra beginning Wednesday, November 26. The Heart Sutra, the full title translated as The Heart of Perfection of Wisdom, is a core text of the Mahayana Zen Buddhist tradition. The essential teaching of the Sutra is "form is emptiness, emptiness is form." Torei Enji, dharma heir of Hakuin, draws on Hakuin's teachings in this guide to Rinzai Zen training.
