HFTC Instructors attended CASS 2025 in Phoenix, Arizona. A powerful week of learning from some of the greatest minds in the CPR world, gaining new insights and skills that will help us empower even more lifesavers in our communities. They also listened to survivor and co survivor stories, which serve as meaningful reminders of why our work in CPR and emergency response is so important.

Every training, every session, and every conversation is strengthening our mission to prepare responders for sudden cardiac arrest and life threatening emergencies. Together we continue to raise the standard of care.

We’re excited to share that HealthForce Training Center was recently featured on News 12 Long Island—highlighting the amazing story of an 8-year-old Island Park student who took the Heartsaver CPR AED course to learn how to save a life if someone goes unresponsive. ❤️‍🩹

Abigail Lopez got inspired from what her mom did in order to save a man’s life. Stories like this is a reminder that it is never too early to learn CPR. When children are given the right guidance and hands-on practice, they gain the confidence to step up during an emergency.

We’re grateful to News 12 Long Island for sharing her story and shedding light on the importance of early CPR education and quality training.
