There are a select few muscles that, when developed, can change the whole look of your physique. Traps are one of those muscles.

Most people go right to shrugs to train their traps. I have found that heavy farmers carries can develop them better than shrugs. Also there is less risk of trap/neck muscle strain with a heavy farmers carry. Try it out and let me know what you think.

Common misconception is that you need to train heavy to build muscle and your dream physique.

Turns out that for looking great, you just need to make sure that the muscles you are targeting are sufficiently exhausted 2-3x weekly.

Lifting heavier over time is still a part of it, but you can get incredible results at higher rep ranges.

Understanding the differences between building muscle for physique and building maximal strength can clear up a lot of confusion for many people.

The stress, sensations and approach will differ greatly depending on your desired outcome.

This is a firm reminder to check your ego at the door. Nobody ever got better from brutally failing a one rep max effort lift.

If it was not for the safety pins, this kid would've been dead or paralyzed. Even WITH experienced spotters.

To achieve incredible results you need to sacrifice a lot. However, there are times in your life when those sacrifices may not be worth it anymore. As we all get older, we need to a strike balance between health, fitness and life. But make no mistake, only YOU can make these changes.

Knee sleeves and wraps can be a great tool, but there are levels to that type of equipment. It's important to have a good grasp on when to use them and what type of sleeve or wrap you opt for.

Exercise is time consuming enough. Who has time to do all the mobility work on top of that. Make your resistance training double as the BEST type of mobility work there is... Loaded Mobility. Loading a joint into severe but PAIN FREE range of motion is the best way to get stronger and prepare the joints and connective tissue. Two birds, one stone.
