Congratulations to Jamie Hill, our Memory Care Activity Aide, as our Employee of the Month! 🎉🥳 Jamie has been a part of the Activity Crew here for two years, always laughing, bringing a smile and a patient feeling, while keeping everyone looking forward to her next move! 😂😊 Her fancy pants and fancy dancing are always a good time! 💃👖 Jamie has worked in long-term care for over 20 years, is a mom to three daughters, and a grandma to one perfect little boy. 👩‍👧‍👧💙 Her husband is her biggest support! 💪❤️ Thank you, Jamie, for keeping all of our days full of joy. 🙏💖

Our Dietary Department brought St. Patrick's Day to life with corned beef and cabbage, green beer, and Bailey's Irish cream cheesecake! They looked cute too! No pinching going on with them! 🍀🍻🍰 Thank you for making the meal spectacular!

We are delighted to announce that Nevaeh Zook has been recognized as our employee of the month. She is consistently praised for her sweet, kind, caring, and patient demeanor. Nevaeh has dedicated three years of service to Parkview's dietary department and is highly regarded for her thoughtful contributions during meal service, from offering coffee to providing extra treats and anticipating needs. We extend our sincerest congratulations and express our gratitude for her valuable contributions to the Parkview team.

Good morning and Happy Monday! 🤗

We’re closing out February with another wonderful week of activities, entertainment, and opportunities to learn and connect. We hope you’ll join us—your participation makes every program more enjoyable!🥳

Monday:
Start the morning with Sittercise to stretch and stay active. Later, enjoy Bridge in the library or join us for Euchre in the dining room for some friendly card play! 🎴♥️♣️🃏

Tuesday:
Have fun with Wii Bowling, then test your knowledge as a Jeopardy Contestant. Assisted Living residents may enjoy one-on-one manicures for a little pampering. In the afternoon, join us for a Black History Presentation with Karlene Johnson, followed by Great Courses for continued learning. Diane Ludwig will also be available for IT Support to help with your technology questions. 🎳🤔💅🗣📚

Wednesday:
We begin with Bible Study and Refreshments for spiritual enrichment and conversation. Later, we’ll participate in the Highland Community College Lifelong Learning Program: JFK Assassination, an engaging historical presentation. Book lovers can attend Book Club, and we’ll finish the day with a warm and welcoming Soup Supper with Admin! 🎚🍪☕️🗣😊🍲🥘

Thursday:
Stay active with Sittercise, then enjoy laughter and discussion during Comics & Comments. Try your hand at Poker & Table Games, and don’t miss our festive Monthly Birthday Party with entertainment by Michael R. Kelly as we celebrate our February birthdays together! That evening, we’ll head to the Freeport Public Library Movie Night (load time 5:45). 🧘‍♀️🎲🎰🧩🎱🎯🃏🎉🎬📺

Friday:
Sit back and enjoy Movie & Snack: Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner—a classic worth watching together. Afterwards, feel free to work on your own Arts & Crafts Projects on the sun porch! 📽🎬🎞🍿🍿

Saturday:
We wrap up the week with Sittercise, followed by Puzzle & Brain Fun, including community puzzles, trivia, and brain teasers you can enjoy at your leisure. Be sure to stop by for Art Grab-and-Go if you’d like a simple project to take along! 🧘‍♀️🧩🤔🎊🎀

We are pleased to announce that Jenny Nyatangi has been recognized as our Employee of the Month. Jenny has demonstrated exceptional dedication and passion as an LPN for 20 years, with us for 18 years, consistently delivering care with dignity and respect. Her commitment to service extends globally, as she began mission work in Kenya at the age of 15, providing vital medical, dental, and women's health services, including ovarian cancer detection. Jenny's profound dedication to patient care is widely acknowledged and appreciated by residents, families, and colleagues. We are honored to have Jenny as a valued member of the Parkview team.
