Make-it-Monday: Note Card Book. This activity is great support for fine motor and language development for older babies and toddlers. Grab all the necessary materials and have your child help you glue the pictures on each page of their book. Don't forget to put their name as the author! 😉

Thanks to everyone who came out in the snowy weather on Wednesday night for our evening group session! Families enjoyed an interactive story time, snacks, playing with snow, exploring ice, a sensory bin with winter animals, a mitten art project, and much more! ❄️🎿 🧊 🧤

The idea that babies cannot communicate is nothing short of a MYTH. And we're here to bust it!

From birth, little ones are born natural communicators. They just don't use words. Movements, eyes, noises, and touch are all we need to understand our children. It's enough to understand what they want, what they need, what we can do to make them feel more connected. We just need to know what to look for. 👀

One of the most integral thing a parent can do is learn to understand their baby's cues. That's how they can make their little one feel heard, building trust that's foundational for a lifelong relationship. When we truly listen to each other, we don't need language. Our love is all the words we need! 🫶

Make-it-Monday: I Spy Bottle. This activity is perfect for your toddler's fine motor and cognitive development. Use any empty bottle and have your child help put in your little colorful objects. Then, pour in the rice using a funnel and secure the lid using tape or glue. Now you can play I Spy! Encourage your child to shake and move the bottle to find an object you put in there.
