The Family Enrichment Program Child Development & Health
Prenatal, Infant & Toddler Curriculum
Infant Massage & Car Seat Checks

Our Mission: Family Enrichment Program promotes early development, learning and health of children by supporting and engaging their parents and caregivers. The Family Enrichment Program is designed to assist parents in their role as a child's first and most important teacher and to help promote a strong and healthy parent-child relationship. Our FREE program provides child development information

and activity ideas brought to the home by a trained professional at the parents' convenience. We encourage families through: prenatal support, personal visits, group connections, screenings, newsletters, community resources, infant massage (by trained professionals), car seat safety checks (by certified technicians), and more! Learn about our Family Enrichment Program through the Regional Office of Education #8 Website: https://www.roe8.com/programs-services/prevention-initiative and check out our Prenatal-3 curriculum at www.parentsasteachers.org.

πŸŽ‰ Day 4 of National Home Visiting Week! ROE 8

πŸ₯° Today we're reminded of one of the most important pieces of parenting. We all want our children to grow into kind adults that have positive relationships with others.

❀️ Our home visitors help support parents where they are at, with what they want, and what they need.

🀝 We help support parents in deciding how they want to teach, and guide, their children to be confident, caring, and loving individuals.

Parents are their child's first teacher. You've got this!

Strong relationships start with learned skills. πŸ’œ
With support from caring adults, children build the foundation for healthy connections that last a lifetime.

Last week, two of our Jo Daviess County Parent Educators were invited to attend Awhonn Illinois Section conference where they made our program the recipients of a diaper drive! Each diaper donated, Huggies will match- meaning double the impact for families in our community.

These diapers will help us help our families feel supported, which will build parents' confidence, making it easier for them to listen to their children's cues and trust their parenting instincts.

If you are able to donate, the diaper drive will be open until May 1st at this link: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/39MAVUM8ONXRB?ref_=wl_share

Thank you AWHONN again for supporting our community's families!
