Our Mission: Family Enrichment Program promotes early development, learning and health of children by supporting and engaging their parents and caregivers. The Family Enrichment Program is designed to assist parents in their role as a child's first and most important teacher and to help promote a strong and healthy parent-child relationship. Our FREE program provides child development information and activity ideas brought to the home by a trained professional at the parents' convenience. We encourage families through: prenatal support, personal visits, group connections, screenings, newsletters, community resources, infant massage (by trained professionals), car seat safety checks (by certified technicians), and more! Today's Make-it-Monday is an activity for all ages 0-3 - Let's All Sing! 🎤

Use any instruments or objects that make noise. Sing a song your child knows and encourage them to move along to the beat. Show them how to use the instruments when you sing. You do not have to have a perfect singing voice. Your baby loves when you sing! Moving to music and singing helps your child's motor development.

You are your child's first and most important teacher!

Today's Make-it-Monday is the Egg Carton Game. This activity is perfect for older babies and toddlers.

Grab an empty egg carton and some small household objects for this activity. Use self-talk to describe what object you are putting in the egg carton. Take turns with your child, this is building their social-emotional development. Once you use all of the items, dump them out and do it again! Play for as long as your child is interested.

Don't forget that you are your child's first and most important teacher!

The Family Enrichment Program, along with the Regional office of Education #8, will closed on Wednesday, November 26th (at noon) and will return on Monday, December 1, 2025.

We hope you all enjoy this long weekend to give thanks.
