🎉Today we celebrate ONE YEAR for Pathway Physical Therapy! 🎉

One year ago we took a huge leap of faith and opened our doors to the unknown.
We left what was comfortable and safe to us - to eagerly want more. We wanted more for ourselves, for our families, and for our community.

We are so grateful for every patient who has trusted us, every referral partner who’s supported us, and every friend and family member who’s cheered us on.

🗣🗣 Did you know....?

Diastasis recti happens when the abdominal muscles stretch and separate, thus becoming weak. The weight of the internal organs can then cause the tummy to “pooch” out.

While pregnancy 🤰 is a very common cause of this, it can also result from lifting heavy weights 🏋️‍♀️ incorrectly or performing unsafe abdominal exercises.

The abdominal muscles play a large role in protecting internal organs, supporting posture, and facilitating movement.
When they're not working these problems can occur:

⭕️ Low back pain
⭕️ Constipation
⭕️ Difficulty breathing
⭕️ Difficulty lifting, sitting, or standing
