Christian Women's Noon Connection will meet for a noon luncheon on Monday, March 9, at the Midland University Dining Hall, Ninth and Pebble streets, in Fremont.

A presentation will be given by Ron Giesselmann, executive director of the Masonic Eastern Star Home for Children. Music will be provided by Debbie Nelson.

Anne Bremar of Waverly will speak on "The Life of a Brat." Bremar was an Army brat. She is a singer and activities director for elder care facilities. She also has written a devotional.

The cost of the luncheon is $16. To make a reservation, call Pat at 402-720-3847 by Tuesday, March 3. Honoring your reservation is necessary.

Blues and BBQ will be featured at a March 1 fundraiser at St. Pat's Auditorium in Fremont.

A BBQ meal will be served from 4:30 to 6 p.m. A show featuring Bergan's middle school/high school band and choir will begin at 6 p.m.

The cost is $15 for an adult meal and show and $10 for a student meal and show. A meal to go will be $10 while a musician meal will be $5.

All proceeds will go to the Bergan Catholic Music Department's trip.

Keys + Cocktails — Dueling Pianos will be presented Saturday, Feb. 28, at The Heights Fremont, 3605 N. Somers Ave., in Fremont.

Two talented pianists will take the stage for a lively, interactive performance. This show is built entirely around audience requests.

Doors to the event will open at 6:30 p.m. and the show will start at 8 p.m. This is a 21 and older event. Eight people will be seated at each table.

There will be a cash bar and snacks available to purchase. Raffle tickets also will be available to purchase to win prizes.

Boy Scout Troop 109 will be having its annual soup feed from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, at Trinity Lutheran Church on the corner of 16th Street and Luther Road in Fremont.

Homemade chili, vegetable beef and chicken noodle soups will be served along with crackers and desserts.

Everyone has the option to dine-in or get their soup to go via curbside pickup outside of Trinity’s east doors. Extra also may be ordered to take home. The cost will be $10 per each 24-ounce container of soup.
