Oh heyyy there community!

Main Street Counseling is currently collecting donations to give to men and women who are re-entering the community after incarceration.

Our hope is that by us providing these men and women items such as hygiene, self-care, etc. it will ease their transition, help them focus on job readiness, employment, and moving forward- therefor reducing the risk of re-offending.

I’ve created an Amazon list but feel free to add or message me with suggestions!

Together, we can create change!

Hi community!!

We’ve been busy at Main Street Counseling so we thought we’d check in!

First, THANK YOU to each of you who nominated us for Best of Fremont 2026! We are honored to announce that we’ve made it to the top 5 because of YOU 🙌🏼 Voting begins today and we’d love a vote if you feel called to do so (link in comments).

Second, as many of you know- we moved to an office in the church ⛪️ at the end of 2025. This has been a game changer! This move has allowed us to better serve the community in multiple ways, in and out of the office.

Third, we have been busy working on different ways we can serve the community. One of those is through the problem solving courts- we love helping people reintegrate into the community and would LOVE the community’s support with employment opportunities, job readiness, clothing and hygiene donations, guest speakers (shoot me those messages for more info 📧)

Another is through our family/friends education group on Tuesday night! We’d love to see you there!

And… we might just have a certified gambling counselor soon 👀

Finally, a personal message from Holly because it’s needed 🥰

Friends, community members, people we serve:

Thank you! From the bottom of my heart, thank you for trusting me with caring for you, your friends, your loved ones. If this last year has taught me anything, it is that I am allowed to be human (weird, right 😉). I value transparency and 2025 was difficult- like downright HARD- but we made it! I have learned that while I love what I do- being a counselor is only a part of my story- there is actually a whole person outside of that chair- and we’re embracing her 🥹 If you know my story you know Main Street Counseling is more than just a place- it’s home ❤️ and we couldn’t do it without you! Thank you! P.S. We’re just getting started!

…. Finally (twice): In the midst of self-reflection and my own therapy (because again, we’re all human) I wrote a book! It’s nothing fancy, it’s not perfect, but I did that 👏 I’ve included a link 🔗 in comments- but if you would like one I’d love to gift you one- just send me a text.

P.S. We’re currently accepting new peeps 🐥 and would love to help you achieve a healthier, more productive lifestyle. 📞 402-275-1961

If you’ve been in the office lately, you’re heard all about the link between brain injury and substance use disorders.

We LOVE talking about it. 🧠

What sometimes sounds like “I won’t” is really “I can’t” and we’re committed to helping you change that!

Together, we are focusing on the correlation between head trauma and substance use disorders to help you lead a healthier, more productive life in recovery. ❤️‍🩹
