A Story of Care and Recovery: Resident Carolyn came to Nye Legacy after being released from the hospital. She came in with a broken ankle, pneumonia, and kidney functional failures, to name a few.

"Without my caring team, I couldn’t have made it. They were very knowledgeable and caring and worked with me every step of the way to get me back on my feet and home. Love my “new family” and am grateful for the wonderful care I received in my time of need.”

This past Monday, we were incredibly honored to celebrate a major milestone for one of our own—20 years with the Nye family! 🎉💙

Josh Patrick joined Nye while still in high school, and over the past two decades, we’ve had the privilege of watching him grow both personally and professionally. His journey is a true testament to his heart for service. From his early days as a Dietary Aide and Maintenance Associate, to a brief but meaningful role as a CNA, he has experienced every side of our community.

Today, he serves as our Social Services Coordinator, a role where his deep roots and wide-ranging experience shine every single day. By consistently putting residents first for 20 years, he has built a legacy of compassion, dedication, and exceptional service that reflects the very heart of Nye.

Thank you Josh, for 20 years of hard work, loyalty, and heart. We are so proud to have you on our team!

Dona came to Nye Legacy to recover after a hip fracture—and through hard work, determination, and incredible support, she’s now headed home after graduating from her rehab stay! 🎉 We’re so proud of Dona and wish her all the best as she continues healing at home.

This journey is especially meaningful for our team, as Dona’s daughter, Roxanne, is one of our outstanding nurses at Nye. Seeing care, compassion, and recovery come full circle like this reminds us why we do what we do. We’re proud to be a place healthcare professionals trust to send their own loved ones to recover.

Last Friday, we celebrated the season with a wonderful Christmas party filled with joy and holiday cheer! The day included special visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus, fun games and gifts, delicious holiday treats, and plenty of yummy food shared among friends.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this celebration so special—from our dedicated team to those who joined in the fun. Moments like these truly make the season bright.
