Our kitchen director Lorraine made a fantastic lunch using a new recipe, and we enjoyed paczkis for dessert, as well as some Mardi Gras Trivia. And afternoon music to follow. Was a great day 😊

It was quite an entertaining afternoon as we played the Not so Newlywed Game at Fountain View for the residents. Lots of laughs and fun as our not so newlyweds (and those not officially married) answered all kinds of questions about their partner from who hogs the covers to what candy bar would they be. Team Vogel and Rollston held a tie even after 2 attempted tie breakers. Finally, Nicole made them guess a number she was thinking lol. Team Rollston came out victorious as our champions and received the gift certificate to Logan's Roadhouse. Congratulations and enjoy your date night. ❤️❤️

Something new we did this year for Valentine's Day was to have residents and their families bring us wedding photos of our residents. We did a photo slideshow with these photos and both residents and staff had the chance to guess who was who. Was so much fun! ❤️

This afternoon we had our Valentine's Day party for the residents. We received donations of pie and cookies from Sinfully Sweet Bakery in Fremont. The residents gifts were donated by several members of the community including long time friends of mine, (Nicole's) the Red Hatters, homeschool groups, FV friends, and others who will all be receiving a special thank you from us. Thank you to all our volunteers including RCS Kendra for making the tables so pretty, and Alayna who has become good friends with one of our residents. We had such a wonderful afternoon and are so very blessed to be a part of such a caring community. Thank you all! ☺️
