Last week, Marilyn’s grandchildren participated in a National FFA Organization event that she wasn’t able to attend. Staff member Brittnee went the extra mile by capturing the moment on video so Marilyn could still watch her grandkids doing what they love. It meant the world to her to share in that special moment, even from afar. Thank you, Brittnee, for the thoughtful gesture that makes our community so special at Nye Square! 💚

Once every quarter, Nye Square has the privilege of hosting the Heritage Club from Pinnacle Bank for bingo! They are a wonderful group, and our residents truly enjoy the opportunity to mingle, connect, and play alongside them. It’s always a fun and lively time filled with great conversation and a little friendly competition. Here are some of our lucky winners, congrats to all!

Earlier this week, we celebrated St. Patrick's Day in style! Nye Square residents enjoyed green beer, lemonade, and Sprite — all a big hit alongside our festive snack mix. The decorations added to the fun, and it was a great opportunity for neighbors to gather, connect, and celebrate together. A wonderful day filled with laughter, good company, and a little Irish cheer!

In honor of National Girl Scout Day last week, Nye Square had the pleasure of hosting a local Girl Scout group for a special visit! We enjoyed sweet treats, sang songs, made tambourines, and spent time getting to know one another. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with fun across generations. Thank you to the Girl Scouts for stopping by!

Earlier this month, Brittnee and some of our residents made lettuce cups — nacho style! Residents enjoyed this fun and healthy twist on classic nachos and tacos. It was a great way to try something new, share time together in the kitchen, and enjoy a delicious alternative.

Sweet delivery surprise! A few residents didn’t make it down in time for the delicious cinnamon rolls, so our Administrative Services Coordinator, Brenda, went door-to-door to hand-deliver them! Nothing like a warm treat and a smile to brighten the day. 😊

After a serious fall and head injury, Garnet came to Nye Legacy with one goal: return to her apartment at Nye Square. Through Nye Therapy, she rebuilt her strength, balance, and thinking skills. With a home safety check and the right supports in place, Garnet was able to move back home — independent, walking with a rolling walker, and managing well with a little extra support. Now Garnet is officially graduating from therapy — a meaningful milestone that reflects her determination and the dedication of her care team! 👏
