Congratulations Michael Phillips, Culinary Aide, our Quest for Excellence winner for 2025! We are looking forward to honoring this year's outstanding Quest Winners at the banquet on November 13 at the Marriott in Indianapolis.

Michael exemplifies what it means to consistently set the bar higher through his work, leadership, and commitment to our residents.

Since joining Springs Valley Meadows in 2020, Michael has continuously gone above expectations for our residents. His coworkers look forward to working with him each day, knowing he will always have a smile on his face and a joke up his sleeve. Michael has an innate ability to bring out the best in his fellow colleagues, which has made a lasting impact across not only the culinary team, but all departments. “Michael is always happy, smiling and willing to help with whatever any resident or staff member needs. He is always friendly and going above and beyond with a smile on his face!” commented one staff member.

The Quest for Excellence award is about celebrating individuals who embody excellence in every sense: dedication, innovation, and a passion for making a difference. Michael represents all these qualities and more. He embodies all of ASC’s CARE values by delivering excellent service with his kindness and willingness o go beyond his culinary duties. Michael says he was inspired by one of his previous mentors and co-workers, Angie Blythe. He also recognizes his fellow culinary staff and manager, stating he appreciates their efforts alongside him to care for our residents and show them what it means to be part of one big happy family!

What a fun Halloween we had at Springs Valley Meadows! We had a great turnout for our trunk or treat, the residents loved getting to see everyone dressed up and pass out candy to our trick or treaters! We hope everyone had a great Halloween!

Halloween brings out the kid in all of us! 🎃 There's something truly special about seeing our residents light up as they choose their costumes and share stories about their favorite Halloween memories. Whether it's a classic witch, a superhero, or something completely creative, dressing up gives everyone a chance to express their personality and have fun together.
