In honor of National Social Worker Day, we want to give a special shoutout to our amazing Social Services Director, Diane Sturgeon. Diane has been with ASC for 28 years, spending 18 of those years here at Springs Valley Meadows. She has been married to Brian for 34 years. Together they share two children, Wyatt and Breanne and one grandchild, Cecilia, her Sugg🥰

A dedicated social services director understands that every resident has a unique story and specific needs. They listen carefully, respond with kindness, and work tirelessly to ensure each person feels valued and supported. Quality senior care means being there during both good days and challenging moments. It means advocating for residents, coordinating with families, and ensuring everyone feels heard and respected. We may be bias, but we have the best Social Services Director in the business! We are so thankful for Diane and all she does for our residents at Springs Valley Meadows!

🍀St. Patrick's Day fun was in full swing today at Springs Valley Meadows! Our residents enjoyed a festive afternoon painting 3-leaf clovers, sharing laughs and getting creative with their artwork! Of course, no celebration is complete without snacks and fun drinks! It was a wonderful time filled with smiles, creativity and a little luck of the Irish! 🍀

Please join us in wishing Charles Mann a very happy birthday! Charles enjoys playing poker, hunting, fishing, shooting pool and most of all, spending time with his family. He proudly served as a career officer in the United States Navy, retiring with the rank of E-7. Throughout his service, Charles had the opportunity to travel many places. One of his favorite destinations was Puerto Rico. When it comes to food, he enjoys Chinese cuisine, pizza, beans, and cornbread. His words of wisdom are to live for FUN. Happy birthday, Charles!

She proudly served as a Dietary Aide at Springs Valley Meadows for 25 years and we are so thankful for her many years of dedication and compassion. Barb is outgoing and loves socializing with our community and team members. In her free time, she enjoys looking through old photos and playing bingo. She loves rock and Christian music, the color pink and any kind of dog. Her favorite TV shows are anything featuring good looking men - especially wrestling! Some of her favorite memories come from her vacations, with her trip to Cancun being her favorite! Her favorite book is the Bible, and she is most proud of her relationship with God. Happy birthday, Barb!
