Wendy is here to show you how to get your very own sharps container in two simple steps!

First, stop by the pharmacy located inside of the Student Health and Counseling Center! 🚶🏼‍♀️🚶🏼🚶🏾‍♂️

Second, head straight over to the checkout station and speak with our pharmacist about getting a container. They’ll walk you through the process on how the mail process works! Be sure to ask them any lingering questions you might have. 💕

And that’s it! 🎉

Don’t forget, make sure to have your student ID card or number ready as it is required when purchasing any items in the pharmacy. 👍 See you soon!

In commemoration of Veterans Day, a national holiday honoring veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces, the Fresno State campus, including our center, will be closed on Tuesday, November 11. We will reopen at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12. ⁠

After-hours medical advice or counseling is available by calling the main line of the Student Health and Counseling Center at 559.278.2734. Students experiencing a medical emergency should call 911. ⁠

Students experiencing a mental health crisis should call 911, or call or text the Su***de and Crisis Lifeline at 988, or go to Exodus Crisis Stabilization Center (4411 E. Kings Canyon Rd.) in Fresno.⁠

That's a WRAP! 🍬 Today, our parent scholars brought their children to campus, with a Trick-or-Treat map in hand! Treats were found at key centers/departments all around campus, all with resources, fun Halloween themes, and of course, CANDY! 🍭🍫

This fun-filled event was led by our Parent Scholar program, whose mission is to empower student parents on campus by providing support services and information that helps them and their families truly thrive.
