Hi Everyone! Just a little update on mom, over the past couple weeks she caught covid but we are through it now for the most part. Mom also got her phone put in service and has the same number she's always had. She lost a lot of her contacts, so please shoot her a text with your name first so she can get all her contacts back :) Thank you for all the prayers and well wishes! We hope to have visitors back soon! 💜

Good Morning!! We finally have a date for mom to come home. We are expecting her back on December 21st!! :) We are beyond excited to have her home, but there is still a lot to be done. Caregiver Training was a success! It was so nice to be able to see mom for 5 days straight. Aunt Kim and I learned so much in these 5 days it felt like our brains might explode. I can definitely say I feel a lot more prepared for mom to come home, but there's still a long road ahead. Because she had recently had surgery on her shoulder, it made training just a little more difficult because she couldn't help like she will in the future and she was sore. Also because of the surgery they are having her stay in the Respiratory Rehab unit for another week. They anticipate her coming home the week of December 13th. Jennifer is getting stronger and stronger each day and she is staying positive :) Thank you to everyone for your kind words, thoughts and prayers ❤️

As many of you know, covid has been making it's way through my household, so I haven't been to see mom since Sept 7th. We video chatted the other day as they rolled the ventilator out of her room and she told me she's completely off the vent now! I don't have any more updates or pictures but I appreciate your patience with me during this time ❤️ Mom says she thinks she will be coming home around Thanksgiving :)

Today my amazing mama texted me. She said she can finally see the end of her getting off the vent! She is working on strengthening her upper body and leaning forward. She also mentioned they are working a lot with her left arm, so it sounds like she should have mobility! This is all the info I have at the moment. Thanks for your patience! I'll have more on the 30th and pictures!
