Whether it’s the jumping in volleyball, the changing directions in tennis, or the repetitive motions of running.. athletes in their 30s, tend to start noticing more hangups that keep them out of the game.

We all just need some guidance to learn how to balance strength training our sport.

The deficits in strength can be more apparent as we age, causing irritation or pain that really takes you out of the game when you used to be able to train through it.

It’s a bit of a blessing in disguise really and opportunity to address those weaknesses so you can keep doing what you love!

Some of the best soccer players in the world have Fifa Rated categories in the 50s or even lower.

But imagine if those ratings were for your joints and muscles.

A 50/100 on your ankles isn't going to keep you on the field (Neymar 😢) to show that you're a 93 overall.

Identify the weaknesses and address them consistently so you can continue enjoying the beautiful game!

As an athlete, the gym is your friend. Not to build the aesthetics you want, but to build the body your sport demands.

What do Henry Link’s words make you want to do? What fears does it instantly make you think?

Saw this quote and connected with it instantly. Fear of imperfect action, to borrow the words from , is the first thing I thought of when I saw this.

Taking a risk, or what your mind perceives as a risk, can be really tough. And the longer you wait, the more your anxiety and stress levels rise without any physical danger in front of you.

So just do it, make a move. Not impulsively, but after some reasonable intentional thought and focus.

I’ve been keeping busy, working with athletes online and a few teams here in Fresno.

But I haven’t been taking the action on social media that got me this far. Time to bring back that action.
