Supplies: pencil, pie tin, red marriage figure candle [gay couples improvise with 2 red figure candles of the same s*x standing side by side], jasmine incense, red 8" candle in glass, and honey.
Oils: dragon's blood, marriage, jasmine. *various online vendors' sell marriage oil, I recommend Ana Riva magickal supplies.
Herbs: ground cinnamon, ground ginger, calamus-in the case of a hard headed lover, yarrow - in the case of lover who is honestly afraid of a bad marriage. Do not use both calamus and yarrow as they will cancel each other out.
1. Burn jasmine incense as you prepare the spell work to help raise the vibration level.
OILS
2. Using pencil, write from the top to bottom the names of each person on the candle. For example on the female figure write "Jenna", and on the male figure write "Jake".
3. Again from the top to the bottom of the marriage figure candle write all your desires. Go from top down because you are "putting in" your wishes. Write any desire you have, such as, "Jake marries me right now, Jakes makes me his lawful wife and loves me, etc."
4. Put about 2 tablespoons of dragon blood oil. Rub in from top down. As you rub in the oil from the head to the feet of the candle say pray your wishes to keep away any negativity including people or things you believe will interfere. For example, "Keep away all evil and bad energies from this union, protect this love and marriage of ___ & ___ , keep away his hateful mother so she will not ruin this marriage, etc."
5, Rub in marriage oil from top to bottom praying for loving and great wishes you have for your marriage and wedding day. As you say your wishes picture you and your beloved getting married, signing the legal papers, exchanging rings, etc.
6. Now rub in jasmine oil, again from the top to bottom of the candle. Put your wishes in the candle. Pray for you and your beloved to be bonded together in a legal marriage and that bonded by legal marriage you will be. If you have a religious or spiritual affiliation, by all means claim that this marriage will recognized by them and it's community also. And don't forget to say, "This marriage is bond by love".
7. Drip honey on the figure candle from top to bottom. Apply honey to other parts of the candle as much as you can until the whole marriage candle has a nice honey glow.
HERBS
8. Take ground cinnamon and ground ginger into a mortar and pestle and grind up together so as the blend them. Sprinkle over the figure candle until it is almost entirely covered.
9. Choose either calamus or yarrow.
a. Use calamus if your intended is being hard headed, stubborn, or set in their ways and refuses to listen to reason. Grind calamus to a powder and sprinkles on person in the figure candle that represents your beloved. Remember to keep the calamus off the part of the candle that represents you.
Or;
b. Use yarrow if your intended is genuinely fearful of marriage. Due to the texture of yarrow use small sewing like scissors and cut it up while it is in the mort. When you feel you have cut it as small as you can, then grind it up into as powdery substance as much as you can. Sprinkle over the portion of the figure candle that represents your beloved. Since yarrow is used to promote courage and love, feel free to keep off or put on the portion that represents you at your discretion.
optional: Set rose petals in a circle around the marriage figure candle. Also, continue to burn jasmine incense for another hour or so.
10. Light both wicks of the marriage candle and pray for your marriage wishes with your man or woman to come true. You need only pray that your wishes be fulfilled in whatever way pleases you. But if you have any religious or spiritual beliefs then feel free to pray that those forces come to your aid also.
11. Using a pencil, write your beloved's name on the top surface of the red, 8 inch glass candle. Place a small portion of the same oils and herbs on top. Make sure not to overload or the candle may not light. Now light the candle and again pray your marriage wishes. Burn this candle until goes out. It is meant to keep the energy moving after the figure candle burns out.
Repeat spell until your desired result is achieved.
