The owner of the Fresno Monster junior team (ages 16-20) asked me if I could help him find an athletic trainer for this season (just home games). Games are Thursday-Friday-Saturday (not every weekend, just when they are home). There are 21 home games and he said he would pay $100-200 / game (depending on the person’s experience). The first series is Sept 29-Oct 1. Know anyone who might be interested? If so, contact the team owner directly: Jeff Blair, 559-696-3568

Looking for a candidate or two who could possibly hire to fill our seasonal Athletic Training positions. I am once again interested in hiring multiple certified athletic trainers to join us in Palm Springs, California for our 2023 winter and summer seasons. I am looking for individuals that are either already certified Athletic Trainers or will be certified prior January 2023 for our California Winter League (CWL) season and May 15, 2023, for our (PSCL) summer season. I would greatly appreciate you sharing this email with any past or present contacts that might be interested in either of those opportunities. Our Director of Sports Medicine is Dr. Matthew Diltz MD. He is a board certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine with Desert Orthopedic Center. Thus, the opportunity to not only gain experience, knowledge but to network with professional baseball managers, executives and collegiate coaches is unmatched.

These 4-7 week positions are paid with housing provided along with limited travel expenses.

The Power Baseball organization was founded in 2004 with what began as a single summer collegiate baseball team and is now a Global Player Advancement & Development Organization. Our organization operates the California Winter League, the Power Summer Collegiate League, and the Palm Springs Power.

California Winter League
The California Winter League is a competitive showcase league for current professional and free agent baseball players who are looking to prepare for spring training or possibly earn a spring training invite. Over 800 players have been signed by professional baseball organizations out of the CWL since the league’s inception in 2010. The CWL is the official winter league of the Frontier Professional Baseball League, the longest running independent professional league in the country. The 2023 season runs from (January 23, 2023- February 20, 2023)

Power Summer Collegiate League
The Power Summer Collegiate League (PSCL) is The Nation’s Largest Self-contained Summer Collegiate League throughout the United States. All PSCL games are held in the morning at the Palm Springs Stadium complex. (June 12, 2022 - July 12, 2022)
