OUR HOLIDAY STAFF PARTY WAS A HIT! 🎄🫶🏽✨

It was a such a sweet opportunity to celebrate our incredible, passionate, dedicated and connected team! Plus so much fun to host and feed the people you love with delicious food 🍤🥩🍰🤤 (Thanks to the one and only Robert Lopez!)

We know that when clinicians and team members feel supported, valued, and connected, it strengthens everything we do for the children and families we serve!! 💝

Just a sweet little reminder to keep it simple. 🫶🏼 Sometimes we overcomplicate it without realizing.

A few things we love about this video:
〰️ This mama follows her daughters lead as she points to things in the book
〰️ She models simple words for her daughter (meets her where her current language level is)
〰️ The words that mom models are repetitive so her daughter knows what to expect (increasing her receptive understanding, potentially allowing her to imitate if she wanted)
〰️ Mom pauses and waits, & allows moments for her daughter to initiate
