March is National Deep Vein Thrombosis Awareness Month! We are participating by educating the public about the risks, symptoms, and prevention of blood clots.

Although Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) is easily preventable, if left untreated, it can lead to severe and potentially life-threatening conditions.

Dr. Leigh Ann O’Banion, Inspire Health Vascular Surgeon, recently collaborated with several colleagues to publish the article "Unmasking the silent threat: Prevalence of PAD among patients of Indian descent during cardiovascular screenings."

This study focused on the health screenings provided at CHAMPIONS events, an effort to deliver vascular and preventative health screenings and general health education to the underserved population of the Central Valley.
