Bob and Aletta Grabarski will be honored with the 2026 Lifetime Community Dedication Award at our Foundation Dinner & Auction Fundraiser on Saturday, March 7 at Lake Arrowhead Golf Course Clubhouse, Town of Rome. Both have demonstrated extraordinary commitment, service and generosity to the foundation, hospital and community.

Both Adams County natives, Bob and Aletta have farmed in Arkdale for over 50 years.
Bob volunteers as an auctioneer for the foundation’s dinner and auction. He is one of the founding members of Roche-a-Cri Lions Arkdale Rec. Days and has served on several boards, including the Alto Dairy board for 12 years, the Wisconsin River Cooperative board (now Allied) for 33 years and the Cenex Corporation board for nine years. In 2004, Bob received the Wisconsin Federation of Cooperatives’ Cooperative Builders Award. He also served on the Adams County board for 12 years and his town board for many years.
Aletta is a former hospital employee who worked as a nurse’s aide for two years after high school. She is one of the original members of the Moundview Memorial Healthcare Foundation board, serving for nine years before continuing to contribute as a committee volunteer. Aletta is also a founding member of the Adams County Dairy Committee, has served as coordinator of the local American Red Cross blood drives for many years, established a Strongs Prairie 4-H group (Country Kids) and has been an active member of Arkdale Trinity Lutheran Church.
To honor Bob and Aletta’s remarkable contributions, individuals may consider making a donation in their name or attending the Foundation Dinner & Auction fundraiser on March 7. Contributor names will be acknowledged at the event. Many donation levels include complimentary event tickets, or tickets can be purchased for $40 each.
The event begins at 4:30 p.m. and features dinner (prime rib, chicken and pork loin), a short program with the award presentation, raffles, and live, take away and silent auctions.
