Oakley graduated yesterday!! Last days are very hard for me. As soon as I saw him with flowers tears came to my eyes, but also joy for how far he has come. Over three years ago he came to me extremely frustrated and not able to communicate very much. He left today asking if I would come to his birthday party! Oakley I have loved having a front row seat to seeing you become a happy and confident little boy. You are awesome at baseball, Legos, and pretend play! I will miss him and his family tons!

I received the sweetest most thoughtful gift from one of my little clients for Valentine’s Day! 🥹🥹It had me in tears. He also verbally told me “bye bye” this week which was huge!!! I love my families!

I jumped on this bandwagon! The thing I love the most about this picture is it reminds me of what a full life I get to live. The years are so short and I am always trying to find a good balance of being the best wife, mom, and therapist to give everyone what they deserve. I also really love my big doggies too!!

All those little moments of new sounds, motor plans, words, phrases, access to aac, that “bingo” eye contact where I often feel they can see into my soul, that first friend they now know how to make by themselves, the joy of a favorite toy or activity where their smile and laughter brightens the room, and the quiet moments where your child is validated and loved.

Peyton graduated this summer from SPEECH!! We both had mixed emotions about this. Peyton and I have had lots of fun these past three years talking, cooking, and playing with all his favorite creatures!!! 🥹 When he began he was primarily using 2 word utterances and now the talking doesn’t stop! He has grown so much and I can’t wait to see him become a zoologist or exotic veterinarian one day. 🐅 🦁 🦎 This is the best and hardest part of my job! 🥹
