Stress and sleep are deeply connected. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱, 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗹, 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝘅𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀—making it harder to fall or stay asleep. And guess what? Lack of sleep makes it even harder to cope with stress. 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗮 𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲.
𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀: breaking the cycle is possible with these three tips
✅ 𝗧𝗿𝘆 𝗮 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗱-𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 (yes, even 10 minutes helps)
✅ 𝗔𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗱 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝘀 an hour before bed
✅ 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 or mindfulness
𝗕𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗽 = 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. Start small. Your mind and body will thank you.
