Day 70 of 100. No Fluff. Just Logistics. 🥊

Most of the fitness world wants to keep you scrolling. They want you lost in an endless loop of "perfect" morning routines and "secret" exercises that no busy father actually has time for.

At Busy Dad Fitness, we do things differently. We engineer for the margins.

Starting March 29th, I’m launching the Weights & Wisdom Newsletter. This isn't just another email in your inbox; it’s a weekly tactical briefing designed to give you back your time, not take more of it.

Every Sunday, you get three things. That’s it:
🥩 1 High-Protein Recipe: Real food for real families. No "chef" skills required.
🏋️‍♂️ 1 20-Minute Workout: Designed for the garage, the driveway, or the hotel room.
🛠️ 1 Tactical Health Hack: A specific move to improve your sleep, your energy, or your focus.

No fluff. No endless scrolling. Just the logistics you need to show up as the 1.0 version of yourself for your family.

The waitlist is officially open. If you’re tired of the "Dad Tax" on your energy, join the inner circle at BusyDadFitness.com/free. Let’s work. 🏁

Day 69 of 100. Week 10 Audit. 📉

If you want to know what Busy Dad Fitness looks like in the real world, this week was the blueprint.

The Identity: That first photo at Buffalo Trace sums it up. A "Thank you for your service" bottle from the brothers I traveled with, an Aggie shirt, and the BDF hat. It’s a reminder that we don't just train for ourselves; we train because of who we were and who we are called to be for others. 🥃

The Logistics: From the Bourbon Trail to the Cricket field, the standard didn't change. Whether I was fighting the Frisco wind with a resistance band or trying to balance a dog leash, a camera, and a workout with Cohen—we find the margins. 🐕

The Mission: Feeding 5000 and coaching the next generation of athletes. We build the "Weights" so we have the "Wisdom" and the physical capacity to show up when the community needs us. 🤝

THE WAITLIST IS LIVE: I’m officially launching the Weights & Wisdom Newsletter on March 29th. Sign up for workouts, recipes, and tips to stay fit even while traveling

Day 68 of 100. Mind the Prep Gap.

Standing out on the cricket field last night, the "Prep Gap" was impossible to ignore. Within five minutes of the first drill, you could see exactly who engineered their winter and who just waited for the weather to get warm.

The Prep Gap is real—and it’s expensive.

In sports, it costs you playing time and performance. In life and leadership, it costs you the energy and presence your family deserves. Most guys try to "cram" for the big moments, but capacity isn't something you can buy on opening day. It’s built in the dark, cold mornings of the off-season.

The Wisdom for the Dads: > Your kids are watching how you handle your "off-season." If you want them to be prepared and proactive, you have to be the Pace-Car. Show them that the standard doesn't change just because the season hasn't started yet.

Stop playing catch-up. Start engineering the win.

Day 68 of 100. The Friday Finisher. 🥊

It’s Friday afternoon. Most of the world has already clocked out, cracked a beer, and hit the couch. But in this garage, the standard doesn't have a "weekend mode."

Cohen and I hitting the Friday Finisher together. 🤝

At Busy Dad Fitness, we talk a lot about "Wisdom," but the truth is that leadership at home is caught, not taught. I can lecture my kids about hard work and discipline all day, but it won't mean a thing if they don't see me living it out in the margins.

They don't listen to what you say. They watch what you do.

When we move the weights together, I’m not just training his muscles; I’m engineering his mindset. I’m showing him that the men in this family finish what they start, regardless of how "tired" we feel on a Friday.

Be the Pace-Car for your home. Let's work.

Day 67 of 100. The Youth Performance Audit. 🥊

Tonight was the first strength and conditioning session for the cricket season. The results were immediate and undeniable.

The athletes who put in the work this winter? They’re ready to dominate. The athletes who took the winter off? They’re currently on the struggle bus.

But here’s the Wisdom for the parents:

Discipline is caught, not taught. Kids don't just need a "push" to make the right choice; they need a Blueprint to follow. When they see you hitting the 5:07 AM alarm, prepping your meals, and refused to negotiate with your standards, they learn that "The Off-Season" is actually "The Building Season."

At Busy Dad Fitness, we train because we know our kids are watching. If you want a child who is proactive and prepared, you have to be the Pace-Car for that behavior in your own home. 🏎️

Don't ask them to do the work you aren't willing to do yourself. Engineering a great athlete starts with engineering a disciplined home.

Day 67 of 100. The Travel Protocol. 🥊

I was on the Bourbon Trail last weekend with 7 other men. Usually, a trip like this is where the wheels come off for most fitness plans. Most guys think it’s an "all or nothing" game—either you’re a fitness monk or you’re off the rails.

At Busy Dad Fitness, we don’t play that game.

I use a Travel Protocol to "Manage the Floor." It’s not about perfection; it’s about engineering a standard that prevents the Monday morning regret.

The 1:1 Ratio: One glass of water before every glass of bourbon. No exceptions.
The 20-Minute Engine: A quick bodyweight circuit in the morning before the first stop.
Protein Priority: I start every meal with a double order of protein before I even look at the sides.

Discipline isn’t a cage that keeps you from having fun; it’s the engine that gives you the freedom to enjoy the trip without losing your edge.

I’m dropping all sort of tips and travel hacks like this in the Weights & Wisdom Newsletter on March 29th. Be a part of the movement at BusyDadFitness.com/free. 🏁

Day 67 of 100. The Incline Standard.

If you want to build a chest that doesn't just look strong but is strong, you have to change the angle.

We’re adding the Incline Bench to the rotation today. 205x4. It’s harder, it hits the shoulders differently, and it forces you to stabilize in a way the flat bench doesn't.

The Wisdom: Life is exactly the same. Sometimes you get stuck because you’re attacking the problem from the same flat angle every single day. If you want a different result, you have to change your perspective. Shift the incline. Adjust the logistics.

At Busy Dad Fitness, we don’t just train for volume; we train for Versatility. >

Service requires Strength. 🥊

Most people think fitness is about the mirror. At Busy Dad Fitness, we know it’s about the mission.

When you're physically capable, you can show up for your community without breaking down. Loading vans, prepping meals, and leading the charge at Feeding 5000 isn't just about charity—it's about having the "Logistical Capacity" to serve those who need it most.

Build the engine so you can be the provider.

Are you training for yourself, or are you training to be useful? Let's work.

Day 66 of 100. The Bench AMRAP.

You don't need a $50,000 home gym or a 90-minute window to move the needle. You just need a standard and a bit of resourcefulness.
Today’s mission is simple, high-density, and requires nothing but a bench (or a sturdy park seat).

The Workout:
⏱️ 10-Minute AMRAP (As Many Rounds As Possible)
🔄 2 Total Rounds
1️⃣ Step Ups (8-12 ea leg)
2️⃣Sprawl Pushups (8-12)
3️⃣ Knee Tuck (8-15)
4️⃣ Crossover (8-12 ea leg)
5️⃣ Sit-up (or Tap Squat) and JUMP (8-12)

The Goal: Don't stop moving until the timer hits zero.

This is the perfect workout for the busy dad. We find the margins, we use what we have, and we lead our homes with the energy we forge in the process.

THE WAITLIST IS LIVE: I’m officially launching the Weights & Wisdom Newsletter on March 29th. I’ll be dropping the full workout blueprints, meal logistics, and leadership deep-dives there.

Day 66 of 100. The Leadership Supply Chain.

If your truck runs out of gas, it doesn’t matter how good of a driver you are. You’re stuck.

I see dads trying to lead their families while running on 4 hours of sleep and daily fast-food drive thru. You are trying to pour from an empty cup.

Your leadership is a supply chain problem. If you want to show up for your wife and kids with energy, you have to manage the fuel:
✅ Track the protein.
✅ Audit the sleep.
✅ Prioritize the movement.

Fix the supply chain, lead the home. Let’s work.
