I have a lot of new people on here so I thought I’d make a quick post about myself. About 11 years ago, I injured my back squatting 200lbs at a smith machine. I was fine the first 7 reps but when I went for the 8th and I didn’t set the metal guiders on the side, it was either break my ankles/feet or hurt my back. ( I honestly wish I would’ve his broke my ankles now 😅) So for a long time I couldn’t stand up completely straight. PT didn’t do a MRI an actually hurt me more on the stretcher machine. I was trying to jump through insurance hoops to get my care paid for and was taking a ton of pain meds and honesty I just couldn’t do it anymore so I headed to the internet and found meditation and yoga which led me to massage after it helped me a lot control my mind over my body. I got my first massage and it helped me immensely it literally changed my life. It took about 2 years of monthly sessions to finally feel better and that’s when I went back to the gym and started strengthening my muscles to help hold me up and balance me. Long story short, it changed my life and now I have a passion/mission to help other people feel their best. I don’t do the same massage on everyone. I customize it based on their painful areas. I workout because I want to keep doing this long term. I don’t over book myself because I love my craft and do not want to burn out. I get regular adjustments and massages as well to keep the pain at bay. It really helps me keep going due to the positive feedback I get from people and them coming back to me. It builds trust in myself knowing it is helping them. If you know of anyone needing pain relief. I’d love to help them. I appreciate every client I get and hope I can help them in some type of way. We have one body- we must take care of it!
