Fourth Trimester Circle

Are you a new, expecting, or even have a few littles kind of mom looking for a circle of other wonderful beings to gather with? If you’re in the neighborhood or near Frisco, join us. BundleBorn’s sweet midwife Dr. Teri Mitchell graciously shares her beautiful office for our monthly meetings. This month’s circle talk will be shared with my dear doula sister/partner Sherri Doucette. She is the founder of Litehouse Wellness. A champion for men’s wellness, yoga and mindfulness coach, reiki healer and all around great human!

Loved one it is so important for you to remain active during this time of creating new life. Asana poses and movement like downward facing dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana) is one pose in particular that is recommended daily.

𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞:
🤰🏿It boosts circulation.
🤰🏾Eliminates stiffness and lower back pain
🤰🏽Great for fatigue
🤰🏼Builds strength in the arms, back, and shoulders.
🤰🏻Helps to lengthen uterine ligaments.

Consult your provider and begin slow. Listen to your body. This isn’t the time to go full out. If you are experiencing heartburn, high blood pressure, eye condition Glaucoma, high levels of amniotic fluid, breech baby recently turned in third trimester or it just doesn’t feel good you’ll want to avoid this pose. If you are attending a class, go into child pose or hands and knees. 🙏
