🚨 New Team Member Alert 🚨

Meet Christine 🎉, a warm, compassionate, and deeply relational therapist passionate about helping clients feel seen, heard, and empowered.

Christine’s journey into therapy began with her own healing experience, which sparked a deep desire to help others find freedom and peace. She brings a trauma-informed lens to her work, supporting clients through anxiety, life transitions, identity exploration, and spiritual integration. She also has a special heart for cross-cultural workers, women navigating perimenopause, and those looking to rewrite the narratives that no longer serve them.

Her sessions blend EMDR, CBT, ACT, SFBT, and somatic work in a collaborative process rooted in empathy, adaptability, and trust.

💬 “Therapy isn’t just for crisis. It’s a space for growth, discovery, and healing at your own pace.”

Christine brings creativity and life to everything she touches, from designing beautiful meals and doting on her 30+ houseplants to recharging at Novel Coffee with an iced decaf americano. She used to run a food blog and still finds joy in experimenting in the kitchen or playing silly games with her kids.

💬 “Therapy isn’t just about emotions. It’s about discovering who you are, and having a safe place to become that version of yourself.”

Outside of session, you can find Laurna walking her two pups (Phoebe & Josie), baking bread from scratch, tackling embroidery projects, and staying active with tennis or trivia nights. Her favorite little joys? Homemade coffee syrups, anything caramel, and laughing along with a good podcast.

🚨 New Team Member Alert 🚨

Meet Madison 🎉, a relational, empathic, and compassionate therapist at Mosaic Way Counseling.

Madison’s journey into therapy was sparked by witnessing firsthand the transformative power it had in a loved one’s life and later, experiencing that growth herself. Her calling deepened during her undergrad practicum in Kenya, where she provided therapy-like support to orphaned children and recognized the power of doing this work with proper training and heart.

Today, Madison walks alongside clients through anxiety, grief, boundaries, trauma healing, childhood wounds, and big life transitions. From high schoolers to young professionals, parents, and postpartum women, she meets people where they are and helps them rediscover strength and meaning.

She brings creativity and depth into the room, whether it’s through expressive arts, CBT tools, or play therapy, with a steady hand and genuine care.

💬 “Asking for help is a sign of strength and self-awareness. It takes courage to confront difficult emotions or patterns. Give yourself grace and understand it is a process.”

Outside of session, you’ll find Madison staying active with her daughter at the park, journaling, exploring new workout classes, or listening to “Sweet Heat Lightning” on repeat. Once a musical theatre major dreaming of Broadway, she now finds purpose in helping others take center stage in their own healing.

Meet Ava 🎉, a kind and grounded member of the Mosaic Way Counseling team who is currently completing her internship hours as part of her counseling master’s program at Liberty University. Ava’s warmth, curiosity, and gentleness shine through in both her presence and her work with clients.

Her own mental health journey sparked a deep passion for walking with others, especially college students and young adults navigating anxiety, identity, and major life transitions. Ava approaches each session with empathy, authenticity, and gentleness, helping clients feel seen, supported, and never alone.

As graduate of Texas A&M with a background in ministry, community leadership, and psychological research, Ava brings both heart and insight into every therapeutic space. She blends CBT and solution-focused approaches with a relational, story-honoring presence, believing therapy is a collaborative space rooted in understanding. She wants every client to leave with the reminder that they are valuable and capable of healing.

💬 “I want every client to know they are valuable, and they are not alone in their healing journey.”

Outside of sessions, Ava enjoys reading, yoga, making sourdough, and spending time with her cat, Nancy. You might also find her listening to Fleetwood Mac, enjoying Trader Joe’s dark chocolate peanut butter cups, or curled up with her Kindle and a hot vanilla latte with cinnamon.

Meet Alysen 🎉, a warm, organized, and compassionate presence at Mosaic Way Counseling. In her role as Administrative Office Assistant, Alysen ensures smooth operations and creates a welcoming environment for both clients and therapists. Beyond administration, she is also a current graduate student in Professional Counseling at Amberton University and will begin seeing clients this December.

Alysen has always been passionate about mental health and believes in the power of connection. Her desire to help people feel truly seen and supported guides both her administrative work and her growing clinical approach. She looks forward to walking alongside clients, especially high-achieving adults navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, and relational stress.

Her style is warm, insightful, and direct, blending practical support with authenticity. She plans to integrate existential therapy, CBT, and solution-focused approaches in her future clinical work, helping clients feel empowered, capable, and less alone.

Outside the office, Alysen enjoys life with her husband, Paul (a firefighter and paramedic), their daughter Grace, and their two dogs, Kase and Ember. Meet Jasmin 🎉, a supportive, empowering, and non-judgmental therapist who loves walking with adolescents and young adults through big life transitions.

Jasmin’s passion for therapy started when she experienced counseling herself and realized how life-changing it could be. She’s especially drawn to helping clients navigate anxiety, self-doubt, identity, and relationship challenges, empowering them to grow in confidence and resilience.

Her sessions blend CBT, Solution-Focused, Client-Centered, and Reality Therapy approaches to meet clients exactly where they are: with warmth, curiosity, and (when appropriate) humor.

💬 “Therapy is actually a sign of strength, it takes courage to face your thoughts,
emotions, and patterns..”

Outside of counseling, Jasmin loves the outdoors: hiking, camping, and fishing, as well as cooking and creative DIY projects. She’s a dog mom to Roonie and a plant mom to over 20 thriving houseplants.

Meet Kelsi 🎉, a collaborative, client-led, and compassionate therapist who helps children, teens, and adults navigate anxiety, depression, OCD, neurodivergence, and trauma.

Kelsi’s passion for therapy stems from her own childhood experience of not having enough support for anxiety and bullying. She’s dedicated to walking with clients so they never have to feel alone and to help them see emotions as valuable information, not something to fear.

Her approach blends EMDR, parts work, CBT, and Adlerian play therapy to create a safe, supportive space where healing can happen at the client’s pace.

💬 “Therapy is about having a supportive and safe environment to go over the things you want to talk about, not a place of judgement.”

Outside of therapy, Kelsi enjoys hiking, mountain biking, and board games... especially Dungeons & Dragons with friends. She’s on a quest to visit all 88 state parks in Texas with her German shepherd-red heeler mix, and she never turns down an iced latte or a bike ride.

A favorite reminder from Kelsi:

Meet Sydney 🎉 a compassionate, practical, and trauma-informed therapist passionate about helping moms and marriages find healing and restoration.

Sydney’s journey into therapy began during her time in education, where she longed to connect more deeply with students about identity and worth. Experiencing her own transformation through counseling fueled her desire to guide others toward the same freedom and confidence she found.

She works with mothers, couples, and individuals navigating marital conflict, maternal mental health, and personal growth, using EMDR, Adlerian, CBT and Gottman approaches. Sydney focuses on uncovering root causes for sustainable healing and believes therapy is for anyone seeking support, not just those in crisis.

💬 “There isn’t a ‘bad enough’ to go to therapy. If you’re wondering if you should go, you should.”

Outside the office, Sydney is an avid reader (a book a week for 2025!), loves watching WNBA games, and enjoys board games with her husband or walks to the park with her daughter.

A favorite reminder from Sydney:
✨ “Where brokenness increased, grace abounded all the more."

Meet Jeni 🎉, a collaborative, practical, and warm therapist passionate about walking alongside teens and adults as they navigate anxiety, depression, and life’s transitions.

Jeni’s path into counseling began while working in higher education, fielding late-night calls from students in crisis. She realized she wanted to do more than listen. She wanted to help them heal, which inspired her journey into therapy.

Her sessions combine CBT, solution-focused, and person-centered approaches, always aiming to give clients insight and practical tools they can use outside the therapy room. Jeni creates safety by first building trust and inviting clients to bring their authentic selves, even when they’re unsure where to begin.

💬 “You don’t have to have everything figured out. Therapy is about exploring together...you don’t have to do it alone.”

Outside of counseling, Jeni loves baking cookies and lemon bars, singing and playing piano, and long walks with her cocker spaniel, Mable. She’s fueled by iced vanilla lattes, morning journaling, and a love for slowing down to enjoy life’s “pleasant places.”

A favorite reminder from Jeni:
✨ "It’s okay to feel nervous or uncertain of it all but I would say try therapy out. What’s the worst that could come of it?"

Meet Cassie 🎉, a compassionate, insightful, and grounded therapist passionate about guiding individuals and families toward healing and wholeness.

Cassie became a therapist out of her deep belief in the power of connection and story. She walks alongside clients navigating relational struggles, childhood wounds, anxiety, and transitions that stir identity questions. Whether working with couples, teens, or individuals, Cassie blends EMDR, IFS, and attachment-based approaches to create a trauma-informed, nervous-system-aware space for growth.

💬 “It’s completely okay to feel nervous or unsure. Starting therapy is an act of bravery, and it’s okay if you don’t know where to begin. Showing up is enough. We’ll build the path together.”

Outside of therapy, Cassie loves creative writing, yoga, and exploring wellness rituals. You’ll often find her sipping an iced matcha, curled up with a feel-good show, or tending to her thriving houseplants.

A favorite reminder from Cassie:
✨ “It's a myth that you have to have a “big problem” to go to therapy. Therapy is also for self-discovery, clarity, and expansion. It’s a space to connect with yourself, not to fix what’s “wrong.”
