We are grateful to have been considered as a partner for the inaugural McKinney Historic Half Marathon this past weekend in downtown McKinney.

A sincere thank you to Jason Schuchard, the team behind the event, and the City of McKinney for their trust and collaboration. It was a privilege for Vista Physical Therapy to provide care and support throughout such a meaningful first year event.

Our team truly valued the opportunity to serve participants, support families, and be part of such a strong and inspiring community atmosphere. We look forward to seeing this event continue to grow in the years ahead.

Your body and mind are not separate systems.

Chronic pain affects:
• Mood
• Focus
• Sleep
• Stress levels

And stress can amplify pain.

Breaking that cycle starts with guided movement, education, and support.

When your body feels better, your world feels lighter.

Take care of your physical health and you’ll feel the difference everywhere. Reach out and let’s build that foundation together.

The best rehab is the one you never need.

Prevention isn’t flashy — but it’s powerful.

• Strength before strain
• Mobility before mileage
• Stability before speed

Whether you’re training for a race, getting back into the gym, or just trying to keep up with your kids — proactive care matters.

Don’t wait for something to tear, flare, or give out.

Build resilience now and stay ahead of injury this season.

Schedule a preventative screening and protect your progress.

PRN partnered with the University of St. Augustine San Marcos to host a student and alumni social and BBQ.

It was great connecting with current students, alumni, and future clinicians, and hearing about the positive experiences they’re having in our clinics.

Events like this are a strong reminder of the impact we can make when we show up for students—building relationships, sharing experiences, and supporting clinicians early in their careers.

Not every solution comes in a bottle.

Movement improves:
✔️ Blood flow
✔️ Joint stability
✔️ Sleep quality
✔️ Mental clarity
✔️ Long-term independence

But not all movement is created equal.

Intentional. Guided. Progressive movement changes lives.

If you’ve stopped moving because of pain, the answer isn’t to avoid it — it’s to learn how to move correctly.

Your body was designed to move. Let’s create a plan that helps you do that safely and confidently.

Friendly reminder:
Pain might be common — but it is not normal.

• Headaches every week
• Knee pain every time you run
• Stiffness when you wake up
• Shoulder pain when you lift

These aren’t just things you “have to deal with.”

Your body is communicating. Listening early prevents bigger problems later.

Movement should feel strong. Stable. Confident.

If something doesn’t feel right, don’t ignore it. Let’s get to the source and build a plan that actually fixes it.

You don’t have to wait for a new year to start over.

March is proof that growth happens in the middle of things. Not at the beginning. Not when it’s convenient. Not when everything is perfect.

If you’ve been putting off addressing that shoulder pain…
If you’ve been “living with” that back tightness…
If you’ve told yourself you’ll deal with it later…

This is your later.

Small steps create lasting change.
You deserve to move through your life without constant discomfort.

Start where you are. Schedule your appointment and take the first step today.

ACL injuries are becoming more common in high-level sports — and it’s not by accident.

In this video, we break down why rates are rising and what athletes can do right now to lower their risk.

We’re demonstrating two key prevention moves:
✔️ Double-banded lateral walks for hip stability and knee control
✔️ Proper triple-extension box jumps to train safe, explosive mechanics

Prevention matters just as much as recovery. Whether you’re in-season, off-season, or preparing for the next level, physical therapy can help you move better, train smarter, and reduce injury risk.

Don’t wait until you’re sidelined. Schedule a PT evaluation and stay ahead of injury.
