Is It Just "Growing Pains"? 🧒🦶

It can be hard to tell if your child’s foot pain is normal or something that needs an expert look. At RNV Podiatry, we help parents catch issues early so kids can stay active and pain-free.

Signs your child should see a podiatrist:
-Changing Habits: They suddenly want to sit out of sports or ask to be carried.
-Walking Patterns: You notice frequent tripping, "pigeon-toes," or flat feet.
-Visible Issues: Ingrown toenails, warts, or persistent swelling.
-Night Pain: Complaints of foot pain that wake them up at night.

Early intervention is key to healthy development! Whether it’s choosing the right cleats or correcting a gait issue, we’re here to help.

Give your child a strong foundation.

Why Do Your Feet Hurt? 👣

Plantar fasciitis happens when the tissue supporting your arch gets small tears from repeated stress. Over time, this makes your foot weak, swollen, and painful to walk on.

You’re at higher risk if you:
-Are on your feet all day (common for athletes & workers).
-Have flat feet or very high arches.
-Walk or run on hard surfaces.
-Wear shoes that lack proper support.
-Have tight calf muscles.

If the bottom of your foot is aching, don't guess, get an expert diagnosis. At RNV Podiatry, we specialize in finding the root cause of your pain.

Relief is a Roll Away. 🎾

Dealing with tight arches or plantar fasciitis? Sometimes the best tool for relief is a simple tennis ball.

By gently rolling a tennis ball under your foot for 5 minutes a day, you can massage the plantar fascia, break up tension, and improve circulation. It’s a quick, effective way to soothe daily aches from home.
While this trick is great for
temporary relief, chronic pain deserves an expert plan. At RNV Podiatry, we’re here to help you find a permanent solution to your discomfort.

Stop pushing through the pain. Call us today (469) 515-7685 to schedule your consultation!
